I think the biggest issue with streaks is the formula used to determine the hits.
One example of the way they could fix it is the following
SSRM2: One missle always hits a torso section / The other missle hits a total random location.
SSRM4: One missle always hits a torso section / One always hits a limb / The other two hit total random locations.
SSRM6: Two missles always hit a torso section / Two always hit limbs / The other two hit total random locations.
This way there is a degree of predictablity while not going back to the center torso only days. Also makes streaks abit more viable against heavy and assault without having 80% of your shots wasted on leg and arm hits.
Also where is all this Pro-SRM2 stuff coming from? If they were as decent as the claims suggest why is it you never see them, they are on a level of scarsitcy equal to that of the flamer and the Artemis SRM2 surpasses even that. Though I will admit that compared in usefulness the SRM2 is better then the flamer. I believe increasing the accuracy of the SRM2 especially the Artemis version is the best thing to do. Even then it won't invalidate the SRM4 just offer a more concise application alternative to it.
