Hi there,

as I´m not to firm in terms of hardware I´m not sure if I´ll able MW:

OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional
System RAM: 2030 MB
CPU Name: Intel® Core™ i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz
CPU Speeds: 3100
Physical CPUs: 1
Virtual CPUs: 4
Video Card Description: NVIDIA GeForce GT 520
VRAM: 2047 MB
Free Hard Drive Space: 348315 MB

The RAM will be upgraded to 8 GB come next week, but, as written in the title I´m quite unsure with the graficboard.
Would be a shame to buy a founders package and not being able to play the Jenner on 07th august...

Thanks in advance!
Henning

Which means the graficboard is ok as long as the processor is within the minimum requirements and the RAM ist upgraded?
Sorry, my english is quite a bit rusty...

Extra RAM is the only thing I would see as needing improvement, yes.

I'd recommend upgrading that card along with the ram. GT520 is not a gaming card unless you're happy running at 800X600 on low settings.

this appears to be a laptop with a 520 mobile gpu, am i correct? if i am the gpu may well be very unsatisfactory, as something with a number like 520, even on a desktop, is meant only for web browsing and low res video rendering on youtube..... the 8800 gtx specified as min was the king of its generation, 220 320 420 520 and 620 now, series cards, are the pawns that wipe the **** from the kings feet and little else.

I have comparable specs and i can run mechwarrior living legends on high with 30-40fps constant. here are my specs on my home made rig. took a old *** dell pasario or some **** case and gutted it and put a Asus m-pro motherboard and built from the ground up

intel i3 540
8gig ddr3 corsair ram
600 corsair psu
geforce gtx 550ti
windows 7 64x

with my specs i expect to play mwo on medium to high settings. I could be wrong but i would expect 15-25fps average on high and 20-35fps on med. I always choose performace over quality when im into a game because i need to be able to see whats going on as clearly as possible. framerates dropping to 5 during a heated battle is not good no matter how sweet it looks lol.

550 ti is a league apart from a 520, two leagues actually. There is nothing comparable between the two cards other than they're both nvidia, and both start with "GT" and "5".

alright bro, the 520 wont work. my Father had it in his desktop and that thing would melt on Crysis 2 (cry engine 3).

if you wanna just play, http://www.ebay.com/...8#ht_500wt_1156
that will serve you well. The 8800 is powerful for only $50. it wont break the bank and will run on your current power supply. Your I3 is perfect, and you only ned to grab 2 sticks of 4gb ram.

Message/email me if you need anymore help. I build computers from scratch all the time, component agreement is a key factor.

520 is bottom-tier for the 5xx generation. It only has 48 pipes. The 8800gt, the min level card, has 112 pipes. Dont go with anything lower than a 550 ti from the 5xx generation, and even the 550 ti is a bit on the low end if you have a high-resolution monitor.

For reference:
http://www.techpower..._GT_520/12.html

11fps in crysis 1 at 1024X768.

Assuming MWO is easier on the GPU somehow you're still only looking at playable frames at 800X600 or even 640X480.

I'm pretty sure the GT 520 is weaker than the 8800GT, the latter of which is the minimum requirement.

The GT 520 is nearly half as slow as the GT 430. And the GT 430 is about 2/3rds as fast as the 9800GT, and the 9800GT is perfectly equal to 8800GT performance-wise. Yeah, the GT 520 is stupid slow.

Actually, according to that thread, he is absolutely below minimum requirements due to the GT 520.

Can a laptop run this game; Yes. But a desktop is a better solution of price/ performance.
This should run it;http://www.xoticpc.c...0er-p-4344.html
As should this: http://shopping.hp.c...d00-Notebook-PC (customized to A10 APU)
And this: http://shopping.hp.c...ent-Notebook-PC
