Is it really a contest?
All the more reason for hardpoint restrictions.

At the moment, here's what I have on the related topic:
Note that these are meant to come with an overhaul on weapon scales to make them match up across mechs (so the MG size of a Raven and an Ember would be identical, the AC/5 size between the two would also match, and packing in a UAC/5 is gonna be a huge addition to your hitbox).
Look at this craziness!
The two similar Ravens.
The two similar Firestarters.
You'll notice neither can do things like the Gauss Rifle, leaving room for us to get the Hollander.

Now Jenners. Includes variants not included in MWO.

That won't make the mech good.
It will always be mediocre. Just like the WubShee.

As has been pointed out already, it's basically a vulture. It does well when others strip your targets for you. With SRMs, you have practically zero ability to strip armour on specific components. You're just spreading damage all over your target. And the MGs do the same. You may find a juicy rear torso that has been stripped to <10 armour, but in that situation, any light mech is deadly.
I really wanted to like this mech, because I'd been praying for a hero Raven with jump jets. But it has the worst hardpoint combo imaginable for the current meta. AC2s are useless, so it's not like you can experiment with different builds. It's MGs+SRMs or go home.
I wonder what quirks they'll give this one.

You're right dude, Huggin is a great mech.
These guys just don't know how to pilot it to maximize it's potential.
In fact, when the Devs did the Tier list for ALL IS MECHS the Huggin isn't even on the list!
That's because it's so awesome, if they put it at it's real tier they might have to nerf it.

When the rest of those crappy lights are getting their quirk buffs, the Huggin will be standing tall because it doesn't need any handouts.

It's just... bad. Particularly for a Hero mech. A standard variant is more forgivable in being deeply flawed, but the Huginn's only available for MC. It's practically Pay To Lose, even though, as people keep showing, somebody always seems to make it work for them. And that's great, that's part of what makes MWO so fun and awesome.
That's all, really. We're not trying to be mean or anything for stating this. If you think otherwise, I don't know what to say.

Russ mentioned in his thread that the Huggin' (misspelled on purpose) is T5.
