It's not a prison video. It's The Green Elephant. Russian art-house movie.

- You have an opinion on what 'Mechs 'should' look like, according to you. That's your opinion and that's fine.
- However, others have shown they do not agree with you.
- You can't change their minds, so you're only wasting your own time by trying to do so.
- Custom 'Mechs is always an interesting topic, but BattleTech lore is pretty heavy in itself and adding 'new' 'Mechs instead of working with others is probably a waste of effort.
- MechWarrior games are iconic. Like really, really iconic. Everything in them sparks nostalgia or recognition. That's what appeals to us fans, being able to play MechWarrior, not so much Realistic Sense Making Robot Tank Simulator.

Still I prefer ones like the Dire Wolf and the Timber Wolf (and not a freaking Mad Cat you barbarian! )
There is enought non humanoid design needed to be implemented.
The Crab for example in my eye's is a Must-Have. (And the King Crab... I think it will be with my Invasion Dire Wolf my second main money maker.)
No need for new ones.
Unless it's to "replace" a Unseen by something extremely similar but with a different name.
(A Mech looking like a copy of the Maradeur, but named "Mad Walker" for example? )

ODONATA, Battletech has exactly what you want:
it is called...

We're all the same, in the end...

Even for the era we're in we're nowhere near having a complete roster, even if we exclude the remaining Unseen.
PGI's creative license at the moment will pretty much lie on updating the designs, and they've been generally very good at that.
Why invent mechs when there's so many to choose from at the moment? Makes no sense. Most I can see them being justified doing is making up new hero variants or, maybe, even a standard variant to make a chassis viable in MWO. There's no need to go further. Some may even say there's no need to even go as far as I've said and I can't say they would be wrong. There's too much to choose from at this point.

What?! What's the problem with this Mech? Don't like it? If you had to build a Mech to operate in cities, wouldn't you just design this very mech?
(Well, you seem not very nice, nor very diplomatic so i was thinking you could have humor. I was wrong. )
Sorry i touched your feelings.
