brilliant.

Or would be if it was remotely similar.

Also, pretty sure that would be Speciesism.

Look, I agree, this nonsense has gone on far too long, and yes, it is basically all my fault, but just because I implied having ECM is better than not having ECM, doesn't mean I think anyone is handicapping anything by not having it. I never said that nor was my intention to imply it. I think it was unfair and rude of you to claim that I hold that belief seeing as how I do not.

I never thought someone would get so bent out of shape over one capitalized word. The intention was to emphasize that the DD-C is the only assault with ECM, not that it is hands down the best Atlas.

You do what makes you happy, of course, but there's ONE Assault with ECM in the game, and you didn't want it?
And how you replied to August's choice of the Atlas-D.

*snicker* he went for the D

Ok Ill grow up XD
I liked Buddah's post cause he took the effort to poke fun at himself, while saying he thought the D was a bad choice. That makes a big difference in how perception can be influenced.

When I worked as a Bartender I was told there is a right and wrong way to tell a drunk to stop drinking. Between you and me, Which quote(your's or Mine) do you think would upset a drunk?

The problem all Atlas have is with being the D-DC a exception due it's ECM and HP is that ST is easily wrecked. I hope to see it solved in the next patch. I know the Atlas is on the tier list and as should be.

The ST was always a weak point but managable to shield it off on all chassis. But with the invasion arriving it's much much harder to shield your ST off before it gets wrecked by just a few hits. Yes, just a few hits are needed to take Atlas ST out.

On one hand its not a particulary bad thing. But the Atlas is already slow and the HP does not meet up anymore with the clanners and more.

CT is still managable, but hardly.

The only solution i would apply is a small internal structure update which makes the ST last longer. CT could use a very slight armor increase, but that's it.

I do still pretty well now, but i see alot of new players and even veteran struggling with the Atlas. It's a hard chassis and i pilot it all times.

You read my post wrong. (As in not in the way I intended it). My fault? Your fault? I only see two people complaining. Maybe there are others who read it the same way you did, but that really doesn't change anything. I phrased it the way I did to bring emphasis to the fact that most people seem to agree that ECM is a no-brainer. Am I wrong? Doesn't it seem like most people think that? Sure, not all, certainly, but most?

Never got bent out of shape over your use of a word. At least, til AFTER, you did.

And the victim card, really? Firstly, I never said it was "all your fault". Read the Thread. Plenty of "D-DC" or bust to go around.
If you take exception to my using your post as the basis to comment from, fine, that I can get. Could have been easily and simply resolved without the attitude.

As for your intention, one cannot read that, for good or ill. One can go by what was written, and the emphasis YOU placed. Which, combined by context of your earlier comment on the AS7-D (which really, how else does one take the "oh boy"? It certainly was not enthusiastic agreement) is pretty strongly indicative that not taking the D-DC is the wrong choice.

So hey, a simple, hey dude, I think you took my post wrong, might have been a simple expedient to avoid this, in which case I could have simply replied, "oh, cool, actually, took it wrong, but was using it to reply to the thread in general, my bad".

Because counter to what Sarlic or Lil Locky try to believe, I generally am more than willing to work WITH people, including many I have had strong and contentious disagreements with. Not claiming perfection, just pointing out your own comment about "mature posts".

Did I read it wrong? Or are you wiggling. I Said ECM is an advantage, I did not imply it was bad to choose anything else, you did. You were indirectly (on purpose or not) insulting in your word choice. It is insinuated in your word choice.

Wait..did I just admit that in public?!?!?!

Eh, I can get behind it not being read as intended. You've done it, I've done it.

Just saying, that approaching it from that way in the first place, can end things rather quickly.

I know a guy on a forum. His posts read very confrontational. I met the player at a Convention and heard him saying what I read. Big difference. What he didn't do was emphasize words, he just typed it out and we had to determine the voice he used. He and I have been pals since!

Okay, it seems to me that we are on a similar page now. For the record, though, I wasn't playing the "victim card." I was merely trying to acknowledge that I had the bigger hand in keeping this argument going. You implied that I had the bigger hand, and I was trying to agree.
