I've been severely out of the loop over the last few weeks. Would someone please enlighten me to what happened to this process, even if it's just with a few links?
I saw Russ's post on generating some town hall meeting(s), but I haven't been able to find if they've happened yet, or a summary to the discussions.
Thank you,
Prezi

Its dead, Jim.
seriously. the players couldn't agree on the who, let alon the scope and the when. So it ended in a mega post of disagreement.

Well that's sad. I expected there'd at least be a vote thread from PGI, eventually.

I keep poking Russ, and keep getting a different answer one why he cannot deal with it yet. *sigh*

I notice that some of the main names who were top of the list are very quiet on the forums recently though ...
So ... you know ... shhhh maybe?

We have the will. We will have the way.
A free mech is nice. Again, it's exactly what I asked for. But the impression that we're being listened to and understood is even better. I've actually spent more money on the game, and I'm happy to grant some slack, but by god if I feel like this train is broken down again, I'm gone and I won't be back.

ha, okay
If there is a council working behind the scenes, recruited out of the top 30 or so names, I'd be content.

No offence but I would feel safer with Electronic Arts in charge then any of the supposed 30 top posters/players of MWO leading the charge.

There are a lot of really good contributions from the community if you stop and read what they have to say. Now these days there are a lot more fluff contributors who have jumped on the bandwagon but the discussions from 12-13 were generally pretty good.

It's been the same answer - some town halls first - at least one more.
Then we shall see if there is a way to do it.
Lies!
(Second one was "Have to get this poll up first.")
I remember!
(But yes, I do understand... just frustrating.)

Soooo... I get the feeling that people still think the player council is going to be making decisions instead of just presenting PGI with ideas filtered from the collective horror of the forums...
