Hi everybody,
just saying that it would be nice, if we get infos about whats going on on weekends a bit earlier than it was before. Talking about my timezone (CET), i'm getting the info whats going on at Fridays 7pm and thats, for my taste, a bit late.
Would be better if we can get the infos one or two days before so ppl who're working all day except weekends can plan on their days off.
If the Challenge/Tournament is interesting, you could spend a few hours more playing and get out later .. or the other way around.

Well i got the info early thursday evening... So if you are in the US that would be around mid day or morning i guess. Plenty of time to make plans i feel.
Also it might be worth noting that by now it is better to assume that there is an event inthe weekend unless it is stated otherwise. =P
Mostly i think the reason you feel the info is getting out late is because PGI does not have a designated public community master or event co-ordinator. So you have nobody to ask

Well, i do know where i can find the Info.
Thats not the point.
The point is i have to look for it and i for one forgett that all the time. Or i have no time. Or mood. Or or or or ^^
Just announce that stuff on the page when its ready and nobody will complain anymore.
Well...about the timeing at least ^^

i bet you don't have it from the forums here, right?
A tiny news/forumpost a day earlier wouldnt be that hard for PGI to inform everybody.
I just checked the "Tournament" page and there it is BUT without any infos given out here before it was posted on the tournament page. Checking that page "just in case" is no option to inform the community on whats going on.

I'd prefer even more telegraphing, announcing say Monday what/if there will be a weekend/challenge tournament, rather than these surprise ones all the time

yeah but thats not the point.
The point is that is has to be in the NEWS / Announcements on THIS website/forum BEFORE friday... Also on the MWO launcher so that everybody will read it while starting the game.
What do PGI thinks how many ppl checking the Tournaments webpage or even the forums...?
screw facebook, screw reddit, screw twitter, it has to be in the news area at this OFFICIAL website (and the launcher) and PLEASE a few days earlier than friday...
if its too much work (lol) then give me the job and i'm doing it in 2 minutes.....
