What started out as a pure joke & Fun thing to do.......Ended up in actuall....Succes and great great scott joy & fun. Its after i saw b33f Wubmaster video, and when yet another of my battlemasters fell to the direwolves (**** YOU WHALE!)

So i took my trusty BLR3M...And slammed 8 MPL and a STD 350 engine in it. With an alpha of 48 and a heat buildup of 46.. It quickly rose my K/D from 1.29 to 1.61! And my average damage is always around 500 ish. And then i reconfigured my Griffin Sparky with an XL 325 engine, 3 JJ & 6 MPL

And then that became an incredibly effective build... And then i took a thunderbolt 9Ss and THAT one aswel became VERY effective...

DO not give up on the MPL! IT can be used to deadly precision and effect! Post your Wub builds!

So basically this game is more about finding a meta build that melts faces rather then balanced builds.....

Dire Stars, Wubmasters, Dual Gauss/PPC Dire Whales, Prime Novas, Quad shotting the Warhawk Primes PPCs, mass SRM action from the Summoner........those are the go to builds that work...

Not like builds ive done, 2 LL 2 LPL and an SRM6 on back up. Or in the Dire whale, I put in 8 ERML, 2 AC10 and a set of SRM6s or 4s. I suppose that is half my problem in this game, and why I cant carry and dont roflstomp like I should. I go for standard builds.

Sometimes the balanced builds are what melts faces - but trying to uber-optimized your builds has been part of gaming since customization was introduced.

Keep in mind you can still run your favorite loadouts regardless of the quirks. They sure help, but aren't mandatory set ups.

My Wubcada runs 2x LPLas with ECM and that's it. It's actually my most successful 'mech (stats in siggy). If I ran MPLas I wouldn't bother with the machine gun. =P I take that back. Instead of max armour and XL320, I'd rather the heatsinks for that build. I guess it makes sense. =]
