Well, when hitreg is on your side. I've been having some pretty bad matches for hitreg. Full burn into stationary Ember legs, which are 48 IS+A, yet my 52 damage doesn't even make them red, let alone remove them, after they've already been damaged.
Another case was a stationary Centurion, lined up a full burn into a rear CT, which spread to the rRT...and despite 50+damage into a rear torso, not a single section was opened....
I'm not sure if pulse lasers are worse for hitreg, since if you miss a tick you lose a lot more damage than regular lasers.
When hitreg works, they are fun.

Fun Fact: 2x CMPLs with MK I TC + T5 Range module = 372m range.
That competes directly vs. IS LPL.
4 Tons vs. 7 Tons
14 Damage vs. 10.6
12 Heat vs. 8
3 extra DHS vs. 0 extra DHS (based on weapon weight)
So that Wub Crow with it's 44 point alpha has the equivalent of 4x IS LPLs.
It costs 36 heat to alpha, firing 4 IS LPLs would cost 42.75 heat to alpha.
If you like IS LPLs, then you really should have no issue with the suboptimal CMPL.

I am wary of the wub, but the WubShee is starting to turn me around.
And also tend to agree on hitreg, very painful in non-elited 3M WbuShee

I've had some issues like that too but mostly on Ravens and their wonky torsos. Wish you would have stuck around longer last wed after the stock matches ended early. You missed out on some quality Wubbbin and the two of us could have cleaned up. Your SA friends make it difficult to stand out tho since they're all quite good.

I know you're talking about the engine nerf but the PPC only quirks also have me worried they will gut my favorite wubber, the 9M.

I see a few good regulars running 6 MPLs on the 4P but with 48% heat alphas and that's simply not good enough for a fragile medium in my book. When the hunch is gone they can't even zombie like the 9M can.

The WubBoar! I really loved how I could leg Spiders with the arm based LPLs - of course they tend to get lost fast :-(
