The Clans knew about them. While official contact hasn't happened yet their trading vessels do hit some Inner Sphere ports and their assassins also do some skunk works for Inner Sphere groups.

Haha, lol, nice!! I live in Norway and Trondheim is a 3 hours drive from here, and Hamar is a 5 hour drive! Awesome, didn't know about these on the map! Sooo cooool!

There are a lot of goodies like that on the map (taken over from the TT map).
You will find a lot of the "Hanse" towns there for example.
Like Amsterdam or Lübeck.
