The quirks will happen when they happen, and PGI will do a full list when they have it finished. One assumes that the delay until the first November patch is due to some last-minute changes or issues that may not be reflected in their current quirks listings.

Where's the screenshot he mentioned when talking about the centurion quirks...

I don't understand when they said that ECM or JJ count as a quirk, but then give the HGN-733C 2 quirks for a Teir-2 mech.

The Jester (Teir3) got 2 quirks and we were reminded it has JJ for the 3rd, but for the HGN-733C, I see 2 quirks listed, but doesn't it also have JJ?

I also thought the quirks were going to help balance the mechs more with the Teir 1 mechs. So rather than being incentive to try to get people to diversify the builds, we should be promoting the builds that do work.

For the Jester for example, if it only gets 2 quirks, I would have suggested more like, increased jump thrust/increased jump height, since it only has 2 JJ. I don't really see many jesters, and the ones I do don't run LL...They run med lasers, ppc or in some cases LPL's, with some AMS.

The quirks should enhance what makes a mech good rather than try to force diversity onto a chasis that isn't typically configured that way in practice. I see they favor the stock loadouts, but many of the stock loadouts aren't competitive. (stock ember anyone?) So why give quirks to a configuration that's not competitive, under the guise of balance?

I would have assumed that JJs/ECM would already be taken into account as part of the initial tier ranking.

I mean, isn't the ECM the reason why everyone says the RVN-3L is great but the -2x and -4X are crap? The Raven-3L is higher (lower?) tier mostly because it can carry ECM and the others can't.

According to the list, Raven 3L is Teir 2, Raven 4X is Teir 4, and 2X is Teir 5.

So by that logic, 3L will get 1 quick (Teir2 - 1ECM = 1)
4X should get 3 quirks (Teir4 - 1JJ = 3)
2x should get 5 quirks (Teir5 - 0 JJ/ECM =5)

The Jester got 2 quirkcs (Teir3 - 1JJ = 2)

So I'm wondering why the HGN-733C gets 2 quirks? (Teir2 - 1JJ = 1)

I thought the fact that the mech had ECM/JJ factored into which teir it ends up in. For example the Jester without JJ would probably be Teir 4. The Raven 3L without ecm, would probably be Teir 3 or 4 as well. Feels like double taxation if ECM/JJ take away a quirk, but are also a factor in what teir the mech is in, in the first place.

Yeah I'd say the 3L would bee easy bottom tier without ecm. Remove the ecm and the 3L can be built as the RVN-3M (3m drops ecm and weapons for an lrm 15, narc, and small lasers as a kind of tiny catapault) put out that varient now, it'd probably be same tier as 2x, or maybe worse(it doesn't have jj or ecm after all)
I reworked a 2x the other day to emulate it (minus narc) and while I thought it would have potential (it's getting med lasers back, somehow...) it finely isn't going to turn a fight with a potential for a lrm 25/30, though I am not going to take off ecm from my 3L cause that's crazy. Now on the other hand, there isn't that much in the way of IS light missile platforms outside of oxide that I can think of off the top of my head. I guess you could go Hugginstuff, but that's a hero raven anyway.
