I think of the conelike shoulders (>O<) and of the shoulders from mechcommander with the blades coming out of it.
The concept picture of the Zeus makes me think it will be like the Aweseome. Big fat and ugly. I loved the Awesome and Zeus in the previous mechwarrior games, but I would not touch the Awesome with a 10 foot pole. I hate to think the same will happen with the Zeus The Zeus and Awesome were 2 mechs that I was looking forward to the most after I saw the news about a new mechwarrior being released.
I say this because I care, I love how most of the mechs are designed in MWO. I really hope you change the look of the mech and this sentence gives me at least some hope: ,,Well they haven't modeled it yet for one''.
To be more specific, the concept art arms look like they consist of two parts and the shoulder consists of two parts, the upper and lower arm, what I like about the other Zeus pictures is the shoulder (one big cone) with only the lower arm attached to the shoulder, the lower arm being just a big case for a weapon system like LRM or a big PPC/AC20 cannon.
You may take my Ravens and Jagers, you may nerf the IS-AC20 even more, just please reconsider the Zeus appearance.
@Dennis de Koning, as someone with a Dutch heritance please hear my plea!
Zues head sink blades were not introduced untill after 3052 Sad panda face

edit: one suggestion I'd like to make since this is mostly thown out these so people who haven't gotten a top tier pack in the past can get the king crab but there isn't much incentive for those who have gotten a top tier pack or two in the past, maybe throw them a bone if they are on the fence to give them added incentive to buy another pack?

Slow for a light (only a top of 64km/h; think of it as a slimmer Vindicator). Traditionally a Draconis Combine design, paired with the Jenner with the Jenner using it's speed to lure targets to the firepower of the Panther. Considered a good urban combatant, which is tabletop-speak for "it's pathetically slow, but at least it's got jump jets".
The main variant is the PNT-9R, which carries a PPC and SRM4.
The -8Z is an ancient Star League era variant (unlikely to be seen, but hey, we got the Vindicator -1X) which swaps the PPC for a large laser, another heat sink, and a ton of armour.
The -10K is a Kuritan upgrade that uses Endo Steel, turns the PPC into an ER PPC and adds Artemis to the SRM4. Alas, single heat sinks still. Technically comes out in 3051, but PGI will probably fudge it so there's three variants.
The -10K2 fixes the single heat sinks issue of the -10K and also removes the Artemis in favour of double heat sinks and 2 SRM4s. However, the idea that double heat sinks > single heat sinks took the Combine 23 years to realise, so we won't see it until 3074, unless you make your own.
Katana Kat is a likely hero, piloted by Minobu Tetsuhara, a friend of Jaime Wolf up until the Battle of Misery. No canon description of it's loadout is recorded.
Enforcer
A Davion medium. Known for being a solid line 'mech, and for it's rear armour being as tough as a Jenner's. Somewhat short on ammo for it's main gun, but noted for being quick to reload ammo bins for said gun (they come in clips that can be crane loaded/unloaded). Has the speed of a Centurion-A, but also a full set of jump jets.
The main variant is the ENF-4R, which carries a large laser in one arm, an AC/10 in the other and a small laser in the torso.
The -5D variant upgrades to ferro-fibrous, CASE, a 250XL engine (for a top speed of 86, with an additional jump jet to match), an ER large laser and an LB 10-X AC. More speed, more fragile.
The Enforcer III ENF-6M carries an Ultra AC/10 instead of an LB 10-X, but is otherwise much the same as the -5D except in appearance and the fact that it comes out in 3059.
There are hints of an "original design" for the Enforcer that was modified to make the -4R that carried two medium lasers in place of the large laser. No hints are given as to where the other three tons went, though heat sinks or ammo would be a good guess.
Daniel Waylen of the Fox's Teeth piloted a customised -4R that also had the two arm mounted medium lasers in place of a large laser, and packs a gauss rifle in the right arm. It's later upgraded to the same engine and armour as the stock -5D, while still carrying it's gauss rifle and two medium lasers.
Another good candidate for a hero Enforcer would be Bannockburn, the 'Mech of Colin McBurnham. It's paint scheme is described as being in his family's dark green, brown and blue "kilt colours", by which they could mean a tartan pattern or perhaps simply the colours from the tartan in a different pattern. McBurnham is a skilled city-fighter and brawler, so though we don't have details on what Bannockburn mounts, it's probably close ranged.
Grasshopper
A skirmisher dedicated to guerilla operations. Carrying an almost entirely energy loadout, many pilots don't bother restocking the ammo bins for the head mounted LRM5 (fun fact: most Grasshopper pilots are deaf in the right ear). Remarkably heat tolerant for the period. Known for being a good zombie.
The main variant is the GHR-5H, which carries a CT mounted large laser, two torso mounted mediums, and two arm mounted mediums, plus the head LRM5.
The -5J removes the torso mediums for an AMS system, the large laser for an ER large laser, and the LRM5 for a Streak SRM2
The -5N removes the large laser and the LRM5 and replaces them with a PPC and a head mounted medium laser.
Technical Readout: 3039 mentions two possible Grasshopper heroes, though neither with loadouts. The first is that of Överste-Löjtnant Tor Miraborg, noted for being exceptionally zombie-like. The second is the Red by Night of Force Commander Thomas Henton, used in a Marik raid in 2843 and kept well stocked with parts ever since.
Zeus
THE "light" 'Mech for Steiners, if you don't count the powered armour called the Commando. Weighing in at a modest 80 tons, it's the one thing in the Resistance pack that doesn't jump. Carries a nice general purpose spread of weapons, at a speed considerably nimble for an assault.
The main variant is the ZEU-6S, which carries an AC/5, and LRM15, a large laser, and two medium lasers, one of which is in the CT. Neither the AC nor the LRM have much in the way of reloads (a ton each), which in tabletop was considered less of an issue since after the first few turns you'd just punch your enemy instead (the LRM is actually arrayed around a ram designed for punching other 'Mechs)
The ZEU-6T is what they wanted to build with the -6S. It swaps the AC for a PPC. During original trials, the PPC interfered with the onboard electronics, so it was removed. In the Third Succession War, however, they figured out a way around that and restored the PPC in place of the AC/5, so that by the time period of MWO, the -6T is considered the standard while the -6S is the outdated variant.
The ZEU-5S is the high-tech prototype of the -6S, and carried an Ultra AC/5, an ER large laser, and Artemis for the LRM, as well as double heat sinks.
The ZEU-5T is nearly identical to the -5S, but with an ER PPC instead of the Ultra AC/5. Also, ferrofibrous armour.
The ZEU-9S is very similar to the -5T, but came out in 3048. ER PPC, standard LRM 15, ER large laser. The two medium lasers are upgraded to medium pulse lasers.
The ZEU-9S2 is just out of timeline for now, premiering in 3051, but we may see it early, and at the least, soon. The medium pulse lasers are removed and the engine becomes an XL, making way for the ER PPC to be upgraded to a gauss rifle and a second LRM 15 added to the right arm.
The ZEU-6Y is the "binary laser cannon" thing everyone keeps talking about. It was a prototype in 2922 that downgraded the LRM15 to an LRM10, while strapping a pair of large laser cores to the same lens array and calling the resultant weapon a "binary laser cannon". Essentially, it's a little lighter than a PPC (9 tons), a little larger than a PPC (4 slots), does 20% more damage (12 instead of 10) while generating more heat than even an ER PPC and at 2/3 the range. It was eventually scrapped because the sheer heat from it kept melting the everything.
The Zeus also has two dual cockpit variants, like the Atlas AS7-D-DC: The ZEU-6S-DC, which removes a medium laser from the standard ZEU-6S to make room for the cockpit; and the ZEU-9S-DC, which removes a heat sink from the standard ZEU-9S to make room for the cockpit.
The Zeus of Hauptmann-General Leonidas Brannock (generally referred to as the Zeus Leonidas, though that'd be like calling the Heavy Metal the "Highlander Snord") technically comes from 3056, but can be created with MWO tech. It carried a gauss rifle in place of the PPC, an LRM20 with Artemis, and an XL engine.
Thank you a lot friend. I am quite in depth with BT lore but these mechs have not been much to my knowledge area field.
I can't wait for the zues. Panther is a cool mech I like but the medium and heavy is the thing that makes me want to keep my 80 dollars.... hmmmmmmmmmm........

To qualify for the Atlas S you just need to have bought any previous package but I see now that we may need to extend the Loyalty program for the Atlas a little longer - perhaps until the end of Oct.
So, then why did I buy the Wave2 package?
Could I cancel that and buy this instead and still get the same goodies (Atlas and King Crab, nearly double premium time, less Clan faction, plus IS faction thingies)?
All for US$40 less?

Russ has mentioned in a tweet that the Panther will definitely be able to have it's engine upgraded, though it will still play "different" to the Jenner. The Enforcer I expect will have a similar speed profile to the Centurion: a top speed of 90 for the slower variants, and a speed somewhere between the Yen-Lo-Wang and the CN9-D for the faster ENF-5D.
