Has anyone heard an ETA on when PGI will fix this map?

It freezes my screen 100% of the time, and about 1/4 of the time, causes a complete crash of the game

I've sent a support ticket, have done what they said would fix it, and it made absolutely no difference.

I'm going to have to start manually DCing any time tht map comes up, because its become unplayable

When your video locks up and you still hear sounds playing, just hit the Alt + Tab function to go to desktop (or whichever function you use to minimize the window and go to desktop) then re-open the window and everything'll be fine. At least that's how it's worked for me whenever my video just locks up. It sometimes happens on Alpine Peaks too for some reason, not sure why.

It happens often after moving from the spawn point. Once it happened while I was spectating.

ran the repair tool, did the "fix" support sent me...

When this map freezes, I use Control/Alt/Delete to launch the task manager. The game goes back to normal operation and I just close the task manager.

I do that too..and about 25% of the time, it crashes the game completely

thing is..you shouldn't have to do any of that to be able to play the map..it should work properly

Did you attempt to flim flam with your DirectX levels?
(Ex: Change 9 --> 11 or 11-->9)

ctrl alt del to task manager and back to game,if your screen freezes and the sound does not.

works for me

i have weird stuttering in some maps and sometimes said freezes,but that method corrects it.

Glad to hear it is not my imagination that I get dumped out of the game on this map often.

This map forces me to Alt-Tab to unfreeze the video on average twice a match, althoguh if I start on the dropship landing pad I will have the screen freeze inside a few seconds. It's really upsetting, I've run the repair tool several times, keep video drivers up to date, no idea why this map (and only this map for me) causes these kinds of issues.

The map routinely black screens for me.

Same for many.

That's why whenever it comes up, you see so many disconnects.

Not a map problem - more like engine code. Its just due to higher amount of lights\shadows etc this map in particular crashes more often. So kill your vidia settings to soap level and enjoy. it will not fix the problem completely but still.

Did you try a fresh reinstall? I know it helped me once upon a time, I have never run into issues since then.

I always had to ALT-TAB on this map. Then I set DirectX to DX11 and haven't had the issue, though I know this has not worked for others. Latest Nvidia drivers.

Never had an issue on anymap other than the few times way in the past where they had to do hotfixes because nearly everyone had an issue.

I would be tempted to do a clean install, and by that I mean wipe out any evidence MWO was ever on your computer and redownload it.
