A full 2-3 weeks of running this build- its the "keeper" build.

If you're of a mind set, and quite haven't figured out what to do with this absolutely, fabulous, FREE, pimped, money earnin' mech........try this build.

Stats/hours/matches, its a stone cold killer played right, all built intentionally around the big XL, and all were PugNation

Just left this one 7PM EST, and I could only wish it was premium and my daily double- to date the best was 4 kills 700 damage, and a dozen sub hundred no kills no assists while I learned what wont/dont/can't work..you CANT just thrust your ******* into the foray and expect to walk away.

The build, and for the love of Blake, add both cooldown/range level 5 on the AC5. play smart, pummel and agitate with the lrm5, and sparingly with the AC5, can't afford to wail away, recon by fire or pot shots, then advance, close and have at it. Get in trouble, you CAN scamper, you wont stand against any other heavy or assault-

Me. Centurions and I never get along. This one is a step above the rest, but I always feel let down by it. Gimme mah Shadow Hawks.

I tried those, that insane muzzle flash was just too distracting.

just checked my shadowhawk stats...ugh...total about 100 battles for the two variants, the one I basic'd out, and the next one...horrid.
.86 kill to death ratio (average both)
I do agree, SOME mechs work and some dont, good thing we gots lots of choices

I like the ac5/SRM builds best. I alternate fire, keeping targets on their heels. Kinda fun. Sure better in ANY other Cent, but I like the cbill bonus in the crazy economy... So meh.

no more longest range and lowest cooldown srm4s..

I run this as a challenge.
CN9-AH-LRM
With 10% missile cool down + level 5 cool down you can slightly hesitate between firing on chain fire and keep a constant stream going.

..and this when I'm too chicken to take on the challenge.
CN9-AH-W

If I want AC20 I run the wang.

you're missing out, then. this one's a way superior AC/20 brawler to the wang.

Disagree.. Speed is almost everything and the Wang gets an AC20 range quirk the AH doesn't.
AH has the srm capability but for my playstyle I prefer a pair of mpl's.

both have their merits, that's for sure. but the Wang just can't match the AH's tremendous alpha strike and the range on the 20 is nothing that has ever made or broken a mech.

I've mastered both recently and what impresses me is how totally different they play for what look like very similar mechs. I seem to prefer the Wang, but I can't really explain why (speed seems likely).

You run the Yang to Zombie, the AH is there to run the XL.

I run the AH with XL275, AC20, 3x SRM2 and loads and loads of ammo (4 tons and 2.5 tons). It does great. I usually get at least one kill per match, and I'm not that great a brawler pilot...

The only problem is the relative lack of assists. Being all short ranged, I can't even shoot a UAV down, and sometimes half the enemy team is down before I get a shot in. I'm considering dropping one SRM2 and 1.5 tons of ammo for LRM5 and half a ton of LRMs.

which is why I prefer the AC10 over the AC20. Even without the full quirks, the AC10 is deadly in the AH.

I started doing 2xAC2 + 3xSRM4

not the best but it is fun. Sucks AC2 generate so much heat though.

Anybody make an LRM-boat for this yet? It looks like it'd be able to, but I don't really LRM much to know for sure.
