Poll title says it all

** EDIT **

Price is actually $37.

Since the sneaky route of making it so you have to buy the 6,500 MC pack at 29.99 and than the 1,250 MC pack at 6.95 in order to make the minimal purchase needed to buy this Hero mech.

very sneaky.... like... pearl harbor...pearl harbor pretty sneaky...

There are plenty of Founders who have over 9000 MCs left. PGI needs to drain them first, before any price change. :P

That is a really horrible response, reasoning to the prices that are being set. They obvioulsy arent targeting just founders....

Waaaay to much. Chassis should be like $5 with Hero's being closer to $10.

Suggestion: Hero Bobble Head ... a bobble head that turns any mech into a Hero Mech (XP/CB Bonus). I would easily pay $50 for that.

$35 is just too much, i thought it was supposed to be "micro" transactions, not pretty much the price of a full game to access a single mech with a small currency bonus for playing.

And obviously we're gonna have to refill for Aiden Pryde's Timber Wolf. That's all that's holding me back from buying HM for now at least.

Nice unbiased poll there.

Some people have the money to spend for fun and useless items. I find the pricing in MWO to be very reasonable. And judging by the number of Heavy Metals that I have seen in 3 drops (13 total, out of a max of 48) I think several people agree with me.

Tell me how $35 is a reasonble amount for a single mech? Most full games cost at most $60-$70. and a lot of great games like minecraft or FTL or hundreds of other indie games cost waaaay less than $30. This is almost robbery at the prices set.

There was another poll that had 110 people answer in the positive to that question. So they made around $3300 right there. ;p

They do the same thing with World of Tanks. Though it could stand to go down to $25.

i can go and buy ace combat assault horizon for 35$ right now, and that game feels better to play than this, and that's saying something about the mass distrust i have for pgi

How many Pink mechs have you seen on the battlefield today?

If the answer is "more than a handful" then the answer to your poll is "while you may be cheap, PGI is raking it in at the prices they have chosen." I think more than $1000 is too much to pay for a car. This does not lead to the corollary that you should then sell me your car for less.

Ah well it is a personal choice of course....
but for the same money i could buy another game...and you can only spend your money once..

And indeed people are paying the prices, so probably there are a lot of people who don't mind paying $30,- for:
- a mech which isn't really unique (you are not the only one on the battlefield..)
- which isn't really better than the rest,
- which don't bring a lot of new gameplay

Don't get me wrong, i'm fine with the pricing, because i am not forced to buy anything, and probably PGI has a good working marketing plan so MW:O can survive.
