First question, are you a clan pilot or IS pilot mostly?
If you are mostly an IS pilot, I'd suggest skipping it, and getting them for C-bills, when they hit C-bills.
For a Clan Pilot, I'd grab them, they fit better in a Drop Deck, provide good mobile fire power with ECM coverage, and most importantly, are not a Timber Wolf, so it can avoid that call for blood... Mind you there is another call for blood about the Hell-Bringer having ECM and being a heavy, something the IS doesn't have, and will not have for a while, hopefully...
And most importantly, if you are like me, and only drive Clan Mechs, then it would let you master Clan Heavies.
