The Cent is a great chassis and because zombie.

Sounds like the OP is disappointed he can't fit 9 C-ERPPCs or 6 C-UAC5s on it.

That new atlas kicks ass.
Definitely a contender.

The new(old) Centurion could really have used an energy hardpoint in the chest though.

A good assessment.

We just need a better system of organization. Instead of just buying mech bays, perhaps also including hangars would be nice. That way we could organize our toys in whatever groups we wish, and shuffle off the seldom used/unwanted chassis to a spare parts hangar. Hangars could be in max groups of companies/lances (12/4), trinaries/stars(15/5), or whatever. Another layer of pay for PGI.

If you got rid of them, you would have to bury them in neat rows, or they would come back and haunt you, about how uneven the graves were

I would totally haunt you for this.

By the way, you forgot the period.

They remind me of something out of Warhammer 40k and that alone makes them made of win.

When I saw the new Atlas in my 'mechbay, litterally the first thing I thought was 'This thing looks like a Deathwing Terminator'.

Even being a Chaos player in 40k, I had to take that 'mech out immediately.

The AS7-S and CN9-AH can't be sold, unfortunately.

It's not a person. It's a company sending out gifts to hundreds of thousands of people, most of whom the company employees only know as statistics, rather than individuals. There's a huge difference.

For one thing, a lot of people like to have a neat and organized mechbay, without mechs they don't want to use. Some Clanners don't want IS mechs, some IS pilots don't want Clan mechs. They finally let us hide the Trial mechs from view for precisely that reason. Now they've given us some other mechs we can't hide from view.

Overall....really bad answers.

While I am not a huge fan of the CN9-AH, I don't really think its right the OP is being so belligerent about a free gift. I mean it cost him absolutely nothing, came with its own free bay and at worst, you can strip all its armor, equipment and weapons and sell it for around 1.5 million C-bills even if you can't sell the mech itself. Basically at worst, that is 1.5 million C-bills FREE and the OP needs to be grateful for that and not be an Arse.

CN9-AH is a powerhouse brawler. (AC20 + SRMs? It's a 50 ton atlas!)

Sell it if you wish..but I would not recommend it.

Again, many people have multiple accounts. Owning the same mechs on different accounts serves no purpose.

Request a sort by or hide faction option in the sort list. Problem solved.

Seems like it would take a lot more work for PGI to make this option than simply checking the box that lets us sell these mechs.

I really appreciate the gift and all... but these two mechs are really not my playstyle... and aren't any use in my mechlab. Grateful, but slightly disappointed that I can't get more use out of two entire mechs that were given to me. Bit of a waste in my opinion to have a gift, and then let it sit and collect dust. Can't even sell it to turn it into something else that I can get use out of and be even more grateful for.

[ps: To those people who say that these are great brawling mechs... I say baloney! All I've even seen an atlas/cent as once I found mechs for my playstyle are free damage and c-bills. They are mechs that alpha, but can't avoid damage as they reload due to slow acceleration and huge size. <--------this has nothing to do with the free mechs, just an observation of the chassis]

Edit: Of course if my framerate was higher than 20 I may be able to use them...

I wonder how many people receive a gift, and then call it a piece of crap and ask how to sell it in front of the person who gave it to them :).

Seriously though, why does it matter if it is there? If you don't want to use it, strip it of content and ignore it.

I for one now have 2 free Centurions (This AH and the Champion one given away in a challenge a few months back). I might as well get a third Centurion and level up these mechs.

I am waiting for them to give me another centurion and another atlas so I can level them all up :) ... maybe they will all have a 30% income bonus :)

It is a mech that comes with a free mech slot.. so -shrugs- Doesn't really matter if you can sell it or not since you aren't making any form of investment on it without your choice.

Some people like to complain about everything. Boohoo...i got 20 dollars, but they gave me two 10s instead of one 20. Its sooo bulky and i have to grab both bills to pay for something. I should get an apology and free everything forever because i'm better than everyone. Mommy said so.

Rant over...
Thanks for the freebies PGI!

Gesture appreciated.

Its like getting $10 instead of $100 when you expected to get $0.. Smile and say thank you, you ******. Your mom(s) and/or dad(s) EPIC failed at raising you ungrateful ya bass terds.

I am not fan of Centurions but I can strip it an park it. Its parts may be useful one day. I want to sell it a use the mech bay though. either way... WIN!

A gift has to be thoughtful to be a gift.
Giving an Atheist a Bible is not a gift or at least not one that is going to be appreciated and just dumped into nearest garbage bin.
Next Xmas, birthday, mothers day give your mom say a mans pair of shoes, see how that goes..
