Just wanted to let you Soldiers know that the new GeForce drivers 344.48 WHQL has DX 11 support and a SLI profile for MWO.

While I do not have a SLI set up at this time I will test these drivers. I have been getting the nvidia crash bug since the patch before last. Not in any other games just MWO and its a good card not over heating and have played with my settings. Testing this driver to see if it help's

Thanks PGI for the FREE tasty mech's. I request a better filter for mechs in my mech bay and a couple new maps ;)

I would love it if people were to report what their performance is like with the new drivers, especially if they ever experienced screen freezes under the last NVIDIA driver set.

Swamp map is coming!

Saw the update pop-up flash but haven't downloaded them yet. I will and I'll let ya know. Though to be fair, I haven't been suffering game crashes since before the free Thunderbolt and UI 2.0.

Edit: Topic was deleted/moved so I'll post it here. (Found my post nvm).

i5-4670k
16gb ram
GTX 780

Canyon Network
Max fps 145
Lowest - 40fps

It looks like lurms are the main cause of my fps drops, being a cpu issue.

I'll try to make some recordings and go over them if I have the time, though I'm fairly certain I didn't even have the most recent drivers before, so I'm not sure how much good it will do.
Edit: Also I'm not running SLI.

Intel I7 377k @ 3.50
8g 1600 Ghz ram
GTX 660 Ti
Win 7 ultimate 64b
SSD

Frozen City 138 - 38 FSP
Canyon Network 142 - 44 FPS
Forest Colony 144 - 44 FPS

No fix for the Nvidia display error
played with settings and they work better at Very High with less fatal error.
Nvidia Control panel changed colors from default 16 - 235 to full 0 - 255
Nvidia Control panel changed Manage 3d settings from Adaptive to maximum performance with no change for game.

Tried these new drivers in several games with minor improvement. PlanetSide, Cysis, Americas Army:Proving Grounds and Rise of Flight. MWO is the only game that gives me any fatal error. and never had an issue until the patch before last.

How can I attach a DXDIAG with out pasting the entire thing here taking up a ton of space?

I wonder if the spoiler tags work here?

Spoiler

Yep, just use those brackets with spoiler and end with bracket with /spoiler, just like the code for quoting

Not relevant.

I'll test with dual 980's when I get home tonight.

i will tst also but won't be able to till tomorrow.

if anything....I really hope this fixes the DX11 issue where stuff just start disappearing at random. I could totally live with no performance gain if this fixed itself with SLI + DX11.

All right I have done a clean install of the new driver and I do like it a lot, there are two issues I am running into though in DX11 with SLI.

The first issue is with the shadows, normally I keep them medium to low so there isn't any big issue any ways but while in the mechlab the shadows on my mechs will flicker and occasionally stop, luckily there isn't any flickering in the game so not a big problem.

The second issue does annoy me a lot, POSTAA (or any anti aliasing) causes my screen to dim and have random shader issues while in game. Sky randomly diming when looking at certain angles ect.

The work arounds I have found for these issues is to:
1) Play in DX9 with SLI. There is no issues at all running both of them.
2) Turn shadows to low and AA off, this removes all of the issues too.
3) Having DX11 on, but turning SLI off. So far the issue lies within SLI since none of the issues show up playing in DX11 with a single graphics card.

Otherwise the driver has been a nice boost. I hope no one else is having the same issues.

Also for those wondering what I have. i7-3820, 2 760s 4gig, and 16 gigs of ram.

so....really no change for DX11+SLI? did you have the disappearing stuff issue before using DX11+SLI (even if you told it to use one card)

did you try running the game's repair thing after you switch to DX11 and did the driver install just in case?

I get a lot of stuttering and screen freezes on DX11 with my current driver set; I'll try the new one and see how it works.

I did a clean install of the drivers, I did MWO's repair tool and I switched to a single card to troubleshoot and figure out what was going on. None of the issues were there before when I was in DX11 with a single card, they showed up when I turned on SLI, if I turn off SLI they go away.

Same issues here. All I've done to fix it is turn off postaa. The flickering crap in the mechlab is still there, but the dimming is gone. Also, very erratic performance. Once would expect boosted but still consistent performance, but that isn't happening. FPS goes everywhere from 150 to 45 for me. Considering 1 card would normally give me 50-80, I would expect not to dip below 50 for sure, but also to at least stay above 60.
