The PNT-10K, ENF-5D, GHR-5J, and ZEU-9S will be the included special 'Mechs, with limited edition geometry/camo and a 30% rewards bonus.
Shouldn't the ZEU-6S be the 'Hero' variant? It's the iconic/original variant, really. If you guys picked the AS7-D for the 'Hero' and the HBK-4G for the 'Hero', why break that pattern of picking the 'iconic' variant now? You may lose some purchasers over this, as many (due to past precedent) have come to expect that the most common variant will be the Hero.
There is also the balance/viability aspect; potential quirks aside, the ZEU-9S is also, frankly, not very good (in terms of the hardpoints you have assigned it). Short of some serious bonus to energy weapons, this 'mech will seldom ever see use.
The Panther faces the same issue, really; the PNT-9K is the 'iconic' variant, not the one that has been selected.
Could we have an explanation on these choices, which do deviate from past precedent?

Still i will get the Wrath package as soon as i can.
It's a bit of a bummer that the Zeu-6S isn't the "hero" variant =/

I hope that if you have already purchase a clan II pack. and resistence pack is purchased, it will be entitled to 2 crab mech, it would be legitimate ???
Otherwise the people who just bought the clan II will really lose compared to those who do not buy it: O. (And then it will be without me ...) thx

I don't know about the common ones since I'm not that big on lore, but I'll be happy to take the ER PPC Panther as the main resistance variant since I'm looking to have a light ER PPC sniper with the proper quirks! I do agree that Ballistic Zeus would've been more fun than Energy/Missile Zeus though.

I was hoping for ZEU-6S as a special variant...
Edit: or not... that actually means that i can actually use a camo spec on my favorite zeus variant.!
Seriously PGI... when can we have camo specs on the package exclusive variants... the texture files are almost identical.!!!

because those were all Omnis. also, it does seem to be something's C-bill cost seems to affect its MC cost (and package cost most likely). it's probably been changed...but... a Mad Cat Prime is the cost of roughly THREE Atlases, but you're getting a mech, when fitted right, is capable of going toe-to-toe with mechs much larger than it. Clan tech is higher tech, so you pay more. you get what you pay for, you pay for what you get. nuff said.
You don't like it, stop being a Clanboi.
