Am I the only one that noticed it has the same Head as the BattleMaster? It like the, "assault Recon" on its hip.

Looks like another Awesome/Battlemaster to me, depending on the variant. Not impressed one bit.

Doesn't the Zeus in the MW2 Mercs intro blow up an atlas with an AC, equipped in it's Right Arm?
*Cries* I wanted to do that, admittedly though nothing in mwo sounds that freaking awesome.

The AC is in the left arm, and it gets blown of by said Atlas. The Atlas itself is blown by the LRM in the right arm.

Just thinking about the title, it's an insult to the Thunderbolt (and it's a mediocre mech at best). If you had said "Awesome" instead of Thunderbolt, then... I'd have no quarrel.

The Thunderbolt is relatively sturdy, but really uninteresting when you look at the loadouts. XL was never an option (the hitboxes are very Summoner-like, if not a pre-Summoner in the first place), but that's not the point. The point is, I read it just like the Awesome... not very durable on the surface.

Go figure I guess.

when the Victor finally gets those negative quirks removed will peeps actually want to pilot a Zeus, PGI is going to have to give the Zeus some quirks so you would choose it instead of the Vic!, afaik the Victor is top gun jump assault, Ill probably use a Zeus but Victor is hands down my first choice!

I just hope it's the same size as Jagermech, though looking at how PGI manages to screw over light assaults, making them as big as 100 tonners, makes me feel sad.

Actually, I was referring mostly to the vanilla hardpoints. "OH LOOK! A COUPLE MISSILES AND LAZORS!!!". Snooze.

Which is why I voted against it in the polls.

If there is anything wrong with the Zeus hitbox its the massive crotch on that thing.....will the CT extend clear down the center?

Otherwise the actual torsos look to be kinda small....

Seems more like a baby Battlemaster to me....doesn't really bring anything new to the table. As much as I love the Zeus from my 90's MW2MERCS days, loadout and looks wise it's just a 5t lighter battlemaster.

Almost all the mechs have massive crotches. Current CT hitboxes are usually just a "thong" in the center tho

My only complaint....
I know that's essentially a Zeus cockpit...
Posted Image
(Zeus)

but it's almost identical to the Battlemaster design they used. And this saddens me.
Posted Image

I really wished they looked different.
For example this sleeker cockpit on a Battlemaster.
Posted Image

(Actually upon closer inspection they are a little more different; one panel/angle size less for the Zeus. But that difference is barely noticed at first glance).
