So saying exactly what HG has done for the past few years is wrong? Man, while I applaud you for wanting something most BT faithful do, trying to attack others out of irrational frustration is lame.

No for-profit, non-fan based image/model of the Unseen has been produced without HG getting involved for years.

People are breaking out the snark because a simple search, both through the forums and PGI's posts / statements would have given you their explanation as to why this was the case, also why we don't have the Warhammer / Phoenix Hawk / etc.

They're snarking because you're too lazy to look up what's already been rehashed and gone over, many, many times before. You don't have to agree with the reasoning and yes, I'd love to pilot a Warhammer, but this is not a new argument and you're not bringing anything new to a discussion that started back in closed beta (or before).

No Unseen or Reseen were in the official releases of Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance, Black Knight, or Mercenaries. MekTek was a fan made, not for profit modification/expansion to Mercenaries and thus did not draw Harmony Gold's ire because no money was being made.

Mektek is not sufficient evidence to claim PGI could get away with the same thing.

However we COULD use the reseen from Catalyst couldnt we?

Im sure The guy doing mech art could do something with the reseen marauder.

And we kinda need a Warhammer or theres no reason for the Hammerhands to stop being used XD

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the Longbow an unseen/reseen mech? It was in MW4 Mercenaries.

Any way... IIRC Russ said that they would look at the HG unseen again when time permitted, But that we should not really expect any miracles, and i would agree. Especially as The Robotech series is getting a revival sort of with the new board game and trying to get the new animated series off the ground.

Then again... The MAD is in my mind a utter pile of junk. Also the redesign woudl look almost nothing like the original fue to it´s very spindly design (compare the mad cat BT vs MWO to get an idea of the changes.that would happen)

You're right. I forgot the Longbow was a Reseen. Supposedly based on the Phalanx Destroid, though honestly I don't see much resemblance aside from having missile pod arms.
