Wang maybe - but Misery only has the 1 CT weapon, and as I pointed out earlier, all of these on sale have 2CT E.

But... but... but... I want a Misery!

Firestarter H also has 2. As does the Cicada 3M.

I think the stuff put on sale seems relatively random, since one could stroll through smurfy's and find all the 2E CT mechs and put them all on sale.

LCT-1M
SDR-5V
All FS9, minus Ember
CDA-2A
CDA-3M
All CN9, minus AH
KTO-20
QKD-IV4
CPLT-C1
CPLT-C4
CPLT-J
CTF-4X
AWS-9M
AS7-D
AS7-K
AS7-S (although, it's kinda irrelevant because the "non-Champion/Hero" variant is not being sold - people can still acquire the Champion due to the extension...).

Weird, the timer for this was set for 10 AM tomorrow.

Posting it a day earlier is better... for everyone involved.

Once we hit a short-list of 12 'Mechs, we figured...it's Halloween, let's just do some more treats and decided to select twice as many 'Mechs as when we started. :) (and we have still another trick up our sleeves, stay tuned next week!)

Maybe my vision is going, I believe I see that you are 1 short of a dozen... and I don't mean the baker's dozen.

One would think, but I know I'm already going to get tickets in the morning demanding refunds for paying full MC price even though the date and time and timezone is presented. :) Some people just happen to jump the gun, which is why we try to save active sale announcements for when they become relevant so as to not generate more confusion than necessary.

Crud...the Spider got loose...everybody grab your Flamers and run.

That's not a zombie, you still have side torsos, true zombies are engines on legs.

Anyone else notice there was a tread posted by InnerSphereNews the same time as this one announcing a "Karma Koin MC Sale"?

It was posted and then taken down.

Well the camo pattern seem to be on sale right now. I purchased 2 buccaneer camos for 625 each already. (Don't dare to take them from me. Har har)

Doubt you'll ever see that happen, but it's a nice suggestion.

Why isn't the Yen-lo Wang in this sale? I'm not buying it until it goes on sale.

Zombies 40 tons or less? Really?

Ever run one with a standard engine?
You'd be surprised. Jenner blows at it, but Ravens (so long as people don't go for the legs), Firestarters, Spiders, even Commandos can make some decent zombies.

People shoot the side torso and think you're dead, except you're not. "Joke's on you, ******! I got a standard engine!" Death's Knell is a famous one that I use for a standard engine. Sadly it doesn't zombie well because it has no CT or head hardpoints (though I've lost both side torsos and a leg and still won a match).

My firestarters are fantastic zombie mechs. 90+ kph, more firepower than the typical medium, full armor all channeled to the front and no one slick enough to get behind me.

Kept going 5 against 1 in this one without backup, but I absolutely after snagging two kills and I absolutely wanted that third kill. Got legged and all but I still kept at it til I got it, was down both arms and to one ST with MGs when I got the kill just before I died.

Standard engine firestarter. Second highest damage of BOTH teams.
Posted Image
My status when I died. Was fighting it out in the water under heavy LRM fire (both friendly and enemy), with 6 enemies side by side, communicating with an LRM Atlas (not grouped) that I had to keep coaxing into action by telling him when it was okay to move up and when I was going to provide him with targets.
Posted Image

Naturally the actual firestarters zombie better due to CT weapons. But this was my first firestarter.

Zombie Locust.

LOL.

I once legged a locust at its base, then blew off a side torso. Thinking I had surely killed it i ran off only to realise the kill count hadnt changed i went back and shot it again, blowing off the OTHER side torso the component destroyed signals were going off and the base was raining LRMs on me so again I thought it had died. NOPE had to run back a third time and finally kill it at point blank, JJ on is corpse a bit then died from the base LRMs. This was before the betty voice alerted you to a destroyed mech, but that was honestly one of the hardest mechs I ever had to kill, no one expects the standard engine lolcust.

Yes, but they don't survive much abuse. Their hitboxes are too large and none of them are designed in such a way that would keep the mech alive for excessive amounts of time.

That entire head is also CT, and alongside the body itself, there's just no way to keep the mech alive long enough to make it "a zombie."
