considering ATM, the next up are : Blackjacks (surprising, but they are killsteal specialist mechs) 1904, Direwolves at 1975, with Stormcrow, Jager, Warhawk and TWs all in the 1900s......
looks like the only thing beating it is Ravens, and well, 2 ER LLaser ECM coward sniper is pretty much the optimal mech for this tournament, so no shock.
Good showing you non meta, obsolete Battlemaster jocks!

Edit: These are great and it really shows how pilots who know their 'Mechs can make them shine, but the telling data I know PGI really wants is the average score curves for each variant. They should get some good stuff this weekend.

Not sure what to play this weekend. I tried my Battlemasters but I got blown out of the water and averaged like 200 damage before dying.
I've been avoiding mediums due to the queue but maybe I'll go ride my Hunchies. I usually get the most kills out of my Dual Gauss Ilya though but I'm not really after the MC enough to just pick my metaWhale or other similar mech.
Good luck with the vindies. I only have St. Ives so haven't elited it yet.

I've found one of the advantages of the battlemaster is how people underestimate it, I've had multiple games where heavy mechs charged me head on one at a time thinking they could take me close quarters.... nothing like getting to eat all three of the other teams heavy mechs as each one rounds the corner and charges in just in time to have dissipated the heat from the last kill.

My name WAS on the board. Then the server kept crashing and I dropped from 13th place to 61st!
Maybe I'll make up some of that ground today after a 10 hour shift at work or maybe I will just snuggle up and go right back to sleep.

Wolverine
Vindicator
Dragon
Hunch
Commando
Treb
Cent
Griffin
That's 6 medium mechs, the worst heavy (dragon) and the commando representing lights.
Two Clan mechs are also baddies:
Nova & Adder.
This is from taking the 10th-15th place, which eliminates outlier players, while trying to account for the fact that some mechs are less popular so have less competition (so not just taking the 15th place).
Battlemasters did ok. Griffins being on the list is a bit shocking until you think about how bad SRM's or brawl mechs are with the way people are playing this event. That's probably why the Commandos can't get good scores either. The rest of that list is a who's who of IS mechs we knew were mediocre.
And that there are only two objectively mediocre clan mechs is no surprise.
Btw Warhawks are near the top using 10th-15th scoring, along with DWF, TBR and SCR (of course).

So secretly this event is a "Which IS mechs need buffs the most" poll....and in the next few months, we will see several quirk buffs, this buffed, that buffed and those low scoring mechs will be.....enhanced...
And what loadout are the top Warhawk users in this event playing with? Missile boats? PPC Prime?

So the tier list is fine for now.
The two biggest head scratchers on the current tier list are the very low tier of the Ilya (T3 w/out jj) and the STK-5M (T4).

I've been running BLRs since Phoenix fairly regularly and I love them. But I wants me my Tier 4 and 5 quirks!
Free buffs are the best buffs. (actually all kidding aside if we can just get the damn 60degree torso nerf taken off the Gs I'll be happy with only that)
