I'll post mine later... I'm too tired to care.
Wouldn't it have made sense to go 235, and squeeze that extra tonnage for max head (and other) armor? Just saying...

I ran a kitfox this time around, but didn't have much time to play. Putting up siding on my house ate most of Friday and all of Saturday.

I probably should have stuck with Shadowhawks. I topped out at 2191 in it last tourney.
Smurfy Link
KFX-PRIME
1xUAC5 with 3 tons ammo in side torsos
3xERML
ECM
"C" arm, "S" right torso.
It's a really common build. In fact, all the other KFX players I saw usually used it. For long games, I usually prefer 2xERML and 1xLPL, but that removes the shake I can give enemies with my UAC5. The LPL helps for longer range engagements however. I also pack it with heatsinks in that 2nd build, and have a single Clan Targeting Computer MK1. Range modules for my weapons are a must. I also run Radar Deprevation, Artillery Strike and Seismic Sensor.
The kitfox has a real problem with kill stealers. You can 1 on 1 other mechs well, but kill stealers will often take your kills because you don't have front loaded weapons. I've tried a LBX5 instead of UAC5, but it cuts down on the firepower delivered and seems to do less damage overall due to the inaccurate spread. It's the reality of playing a low damage mech like the kitfox, but I still love the little guy.
Hey, thats almost my build. Apparently yours is 72 points better

Due to the time difference, couldn't be playing to catch up with Kh0rn, and kinda couldn't be bothered to grind out the perfect match anymore.
Dropped against and with him a couple of games last night to know his loadout/build, but not sure how comfortable posting it without him giving the go ahead.

Builds I used...
Quickdraw:
QKD-5K
Wolverine:
WVR-6K
So unoriginal... yet, this is what I've described before in terms of mech building and usage before. Heat, speed, DPS...
If you were expecting better, you probably were going to be disappointed.

Probably. Think I got headshot like 5 or 6 times this weekend. Side torsoed a lot. The XL 235 might have cut down on that. Not really sure how much of a difference it would make though. Commando has so little armor that getting one shot happens. Getting caught in an arty strike means you're out of the game half the time. In an ideal game, you pretty much go untouched and armor doesn't matter.
I probably still wouldn't buy the XL 235. I almost never play Commando and when I do, I play the Death's Knell with 4 medium lasers. It doesn't have an armor problem and XL 240 works fine in it. I'm not poor, but I can't exactly afford 3 timberwolves yet. So I'm gonna be thrifty til then.

Honestly, it still did horrible in comparison to the others, I didn't expectad much from it, but at least more than the second worst chassis :/
It's the best MG boat, at any rate. Not optimal, but hey, 5 MGs.
Aside from the Ember. And until the Viper comes along. That's pretty much what my build is, with 10 extra DHS and 1 extra MG.

1SRM6 + 2 MLs
4MLs
2MLs + 1 ERLL
2MLs + SRM2+SRM4
ECM + 3 missle,
but honestly the Commando 2D with ECM was the least used I would say. Most Commando pilots find the extra 22 KPH to be more worth while than ECM.
