So I'm excited for the Resistance package, even though the first drop is three months away. My favourite class is the medium, so of course I'm anxious about the Enforcer.

I drew up what they essentially will look like in smurfy, just with the hardpoints jumbled around. Half-ton AMS ammo is a stand-in for Jump Jets.

The Stock 5D:

The Stock 4R:

And the Stock 5P(GI):

The half-ton of LRM ammo is supposed to be the small laser.

Here's my ideas for them.

I'm looking forward to seeing how they differentiate themselves from the Vindicators, Hunchbacks, and Centurions on the field :)

I think I may just end up doing a stock + build for each one.

Why theorycraft without knowing quirks? PGI will show us best builds when this info is released!

Becuase using the weapon that has the best advantage isn't always the best? Who the hell would put a Large pulse laser on a Raven 2X by the way? or a PPC on an atlas...

We can get an idea it would be "better ballistics here!" "more pew pew there!" so we will do that.

Passive buffs still help. This is why having a more unique made build has an advantage over the 100% dedicated to quirk weapon builds.

Right now I'm thinking the 5P with 2xAC5 w/4 tons ammo, 2xMG w/1 ton ammo, 1xML, 2xJJ, endo, double sinks, 265XL might make for a decent mobile sniper. Find some high ground and start firing.

low cannon mounts are kinda bad for a sniper. you expose yourself too much to do your job.

You have jump jets. Even if you can't jump snipe you can still use them for access to high ground, fire and fall back if needed. Yes, the Shadowhawk's high mounted shoulder ballistics are better for this, but they are less useful if things devolve into a close up dog fight.

I still think it's a viable option for the mech. Though I do not imagine Enforcer to be the best choice for the job.

I wouldn't use it as a sniper as much as a harasser type mech. think VND-1AA with twin PPCs. similar upsides, similar downsides.
