Why there is no mercenary corp logo in game?
it's already in the forums, but never made it for the game.
If you set the merc option you get the lone wolf one in game.

1 - it would require effort.
2 - ultimately, it doesn't matter. Most of the "merc corp" and "lone wolves" play in the Solo queue. The only players that matter to PGI are the ones in the Group queue. They won't waste resources on us.

my community is made up of 80 players spread out over 3 mercenary units, and we play Group queue.

I would guess it is a case of "that image is a placeholder image." as it was put in IIRC by community request as Mercs who are not house affiliated wanted to be able to show that thy are a group on the forums and not need to have the lone wolf icon. The reason it is not in game is because mercs per se is not a faction... It is the very opposite of a faction in fact. The idea is that mercs at some point will be able to pay to have their own graphics in the game such as company logos and stuff. At the point we might get a cockpit item that can take custom artwork. (such as a flat medalion that loads in what ever we have in a special "unit" slot)
So no ill intent or lack of care. Just a matter of priorities.
