The light blue just isn't working for me, I'm constantly losing that crosshair in the background.

Does anybody else seem to be having a hard time, especially on some of the brighter maps such as the winter ones, frozen city, forest colony, and alpine?

Me, personally, would have preferred a contrast crosshair, 2 tones or maybe a little brighter than the pale blue.

I don't have any issues with it personally.

However I think there should be a variety of HUDs available in the MC Store.

They could have a variety of colors, and even unique design elements.

With a larger cost for account wide unlocks, and a micro-transaction for single chassis unlocks.

I generally agree, except I wouldn't want single chassis unlocks for something like the HUD appearance. I'd hope that would just be a global unlock option.

If I'm honest, the blue HUD was one of the main reasons I bought my a la carte Timby.

We have a crosshair?!
J/k.
Nah no problems with that. But yeah a few more options would be nice.

Personally that's what I'd prefer, but I'm not sure what the overall cost would be (both to develop and to appeal to players).

I'd most likely just stick to account unlocks, but I imagine some players might want a smaller transaction (I'm thinking like the cost of a mechbay for single chassis unlocks not sure how viable that is from an RoI perspective but I think HUD color would be popular).

What I'd like to see is a basic color change set included in the achievement unlocks (fairly easy), and I would guess the HUD colors run off a style sheet encoded somewhere, so it shouldn't be wildly difficult to implement.

If it were to come down to individual mechs I think I'd like Clan vs. IS or perhaps faction specific HUD's that are purchasable (sort of like Camo, but for your mech). Each mech might come with it's respective faction HUD (whoever traditionally owned the factory), and you can pay to "upgrade" it to the look of your choice. Then also unlock extra, and perhaps faction specific color sets with the current (mostly) colorblind friendly HUD colors always available.

While were on the topic of "stuff in the cockpit", I'd love to see those monitors in everyone's cockpits actually display useful information in a useful manner, and be switchable/editable. I realize that's not going to happen anytime soon.

The clan blue HUD is about 27x better than IS orange. :(

Being colour blind, i occasionally lost the IS HUD, and have trouble seeing dorito's at times, but i've never lost the clan HUD.

If there were new HUDS to unlock, I'd hope they would be different sets for Clan/IS. Truth is, id like some more differences between the 2 as is. Even something like swap the Weapons Display and the Targeted Mech Display swapped.

I would totally spend MC on defernet HUD layouts and colors, especally if they included a HTAL option.

Id love to trade in the circle for a simple dot....its what I use in Castle Wolfenstein...put pipper on target, fire......

It doesnt get in the way, it doesnt confuse me with any CoF stuff, making me think the gun is more inaccurate then it is.....but it still gives me a reticule to aim with.....
