I think these are great value and I picked up the Cent one myself after the free -AH. It reminded me of how much I enjoyed piloting that mech and it's a chassis which just suits me. An absolute steal at $30 to be fair.

Question is, can we have some more mastery packs? In particular I'd like to see a Trebuchet and Raven pack as these are 2 mechs which interest me. I've never been someone who likes the status quo mechs :D

The Awesome will also become pretty interesting (hopefully) after Quirks 2.0 arrives.

There should be a Mastery pack for every mech, in fact, minus the ones which don't have a Hero yet.

PGI needs to get crankin'. :P

They only just added twelve new Master Bundles earlier this month, so perhaps a bit soon.

The other issue is, how many Champion variants are there that aren't now in a Mastery Bundle?

Definitely :D

Also the paint and camo sales we get are nice but how about packs for camos + relevant paints? Granted most of us don't use the camo specific paints but... because packs.

Actually that's true. I was basing the mastery packs on there being heroes and not champions.

And some of the Phoenix ones would be good, too. Battlemaster and Griffin both have heroes now.

Locust hero... heh.

I wonder if PGI are a bit short on resources to think about making more packs. They have chewed off a fair amount of work for the next few months what with Wave II and the Resistance Pack they had to create for IS fans to be eligible for the King Crab.

Totally going to be Pay 2 Win.

It will be called 'David' (as in D & G..), have 50 internal buffs in all components, travel at 150k (because in the battletech universe nothing can beat the laws of alternative physics), have a transwarp engine that weighs 0 tonnes, allowing for max WUB WUB.

Orrrrr....

As far as I am aware the only real outliner that needs a Mastery Bundle right now is the Atlas. Has a Champion variant and a Hero.

Well, the T-Bucket has a champion and hero without a mastery pack too, right? Two chassis that can be properly bundled without the creation of new mechs, heroes or champions.

Aside from creating the cockpit item of that respective 'Mech, I don't think its that much work.

Treb I could see, but wonder if they really would offer an Atlas bundle, IMO it would cannibalize normal MC sales too much and the fact its the only 100 ton IS assault (so far) gives it sales appeal that it doesn't need to be bundled to look more appealing.

Not all of the Mastery Packs have cockpit cosmetic items though. If the mech does have a standing statue for a cockpit item then it is in the Mastery Pack but there are cases were there is no statue in the pack.

Edit: Also the T-Bucket has a cockpit statue. THe Blackjack, Firestarter, Orion, and Quickdraw Mastery Packs are without statues as well.

Not all the chassis have heroes and/or champions--kind of surprising but the shadowhawk does not have a hero

The remaining Phoenix 'Mechs will be getting them, they did ask at NGNG for suggestions, probably just the fact that we got not-Heroes in the AH and Atlas S this month delayed another Phoenix hero release.

Even if like Sparky they opt for Lore and give us the Tallman? 3025-tech 5S with RA 1LL, LT 4 ML, RT 4 ML and eight extra heat sinks.

I wouldn't be against them bundling modules in with some of them.

I also wouldn't be against ...

- Making the free AH always available ... don't stop giving it out. That makes it easier for new players to master a mech, it's a solid group of mechs and would give an easy option for a hero to new folks to grind cbills. It may also encourage folks to purchase the Centurion pack.

- They should really add something after 50 games or something that (or 25) that gives folks a few MC and encourage them to spend it in the store. Perhaps you need to kill everything in each of the training grounds ... whatever. Anyway, the MC could be its enough for a few mechbays, or possibly your choice of limited modules (which don't need GXP). Sure, older players may be able to buy them on the cheap then too (as they'd be in the store) but we'd all spend $ on a second Radar Derp (exp. if it was a non-stacking LTD model you could only have one of). Other games I've played use similar store "tutorials" that give you some useful but limited boost - show you how to use the store and by way of it encourage you to spend more $. It could also be a way to help bridge the gap between newer and older, ensuring newer folks have just a few more things that are really useful to survive in the public queue.
