Just got a 60,000 sub total for a win.

No. They changed the way the c-bill system rewards players.
Instead of just geting 6K c-bills for poking all the enemies, now you get 3K for it.
Instead you have to preform other roles. The rewards are posted in the patch notes before the last hotfix.

A win? That can happen if you cap or something without killing the enemy team.

I should have been more specific, I mean't today. I was here for the award changes and was getting about 200,000 per win and I have yet to break 150,000 yet.

when you get what you got on a loss for a win now. It boils down to PGI needing to make money with micro/MC transactions.

Seriously, there were lots of complaints about players getting huge c-bill rewards for simply touching several enemy mech with a laser. Now you have to work for your rewards and perform various roles. Now, those who took the easy road are being rewarded less and complaining about it.

Grab a LRM boat assault (40+ tubes) with TAG, like everyone else who has figured out the new system. LRMs do a lot of damage but spread it everywhere, so you get a lot of "kill most damage" and more "solo kills" than normal.

Edit: A couple of other tips, never lead the charge, you need to be there until the end to get more kills, hide behind something shooting LRMs, and use TAG when you can do it without taking damage.

apparently he has been on a bad streak and has been getting less. He said he was here for the c-bill reward system so he knows it exists. Everyone has lose streaks. sucks, gotta try harder or hope for the best.

I'm not really trying to make a "thing" out of this, Maybe I'm just having a bad night. Even when I was getting 200,000 after founders and premium bonuses in my Hunchback is wasn't really the lynch pin of the team. I'll keep and eye on my wins, it's probably just me.

Never took the easy road and I am getting significantly less rewards so it is not just effecting those players, not by a long shot.

I have always played focusing on winning and not being greedy about kills or assists hell I am the guy that will stick with the lone DW and try to prevent lights from crawling up his rear while he catches up to the group but you don't get rewarded for that. Instead you get rewarded for mounting a TAG, NARC or both, or for tripping over your lancemates feet in order to get lance in formation and or protected mech status, or for blocking your teammates lines of fire in order to insure you not only get the kill but also get the most damage reward as well. Unless you play like that, you get total dog doiee for rewards.

Yeah that would have netted you about 40k more before the reward change but hey we are all averaging the same amounts as before right? At least that is what Russ claims or so I hear.
