How about an event where PGI calls for the community to send in their Ideas for a new mech(never seen in the battletech universe).

You could even make up a backround story for it that explains where it comes from, perhaps it was a prototype that never made it to production.

They mentioned that they are open to the idea of creating original Mechs. But, that is ONLY after all canon Mechs are in game first. At that point, they may take player submissions. But, not till all canon Mechs are in game first.

Skip for the moment, so many Inner Sphere 'Mechs available in this present time period let alone the future to cover first please.

already plenty of mech in the BT franchise, to create a Mech from ground up, there is the armored core series, feels more like gundam than walking tanks tho.
