I believe Russ said on Twitter that you can do this either solo or in a group of any size.

@PGI If you get, say, 60 points, do you qualify for two, and do you get three at 90 points, and so on?

WHAT WOULD BE AWESOME would be if one of the treats you could get would be, say a "STAR LEAGUE ERA SMALL LASER" - something with its own stats that you can't buy that isn't any better than what we have - but is different. Purple pulsing beam, funky noise, something. Heck make them match existing stats for things if you want, but change up their cosmetics.
Some people would run games just for the change to put a bright white or tinged with purple PPC on their Awesome or that AC20 that sounds like flipping death itself. Missiles with a different color exhaust. Whatever.
Warhorns are chintzy and fun, but I'd seriously go for bad-ass looking PPC - even if it had the same stats.
Not comical, mind - then the game looses immersion - but something to show it is different.

So now, I'm wondering, "How does redeeming the treats (points) work?" Where do you go? What, if anything do you have to click on? When do you get to start redeeming your treats. I know I will have to redeem everything I earn on Sunday. Can't do it on Monday, I have to work
Also, what kind of matches? Solo public, like the last few? Or will, group public and/or private matches count a well?
Happy Hunting,
Ayrmoon

Nice idea. And one I've thought of before. So long as it doesn't get silly.

Right, as long as it doesn't get silly. No anime floating hearts or stupid crap like that, but a darker PPC or different colored / sounding lasers.

You only get one trick/treat per qualifying match, so no incentive to get outrageous rounds will stupid kill steals. Just good, fun rounds.
I am looking forward to this. Finally, low stress funwarrior online!

It says "For every qualifying match you will revive a treat button that you can click to redeem for prizes!" So I would say it's one per qualifying match. Thank god, because this will cut down on people playing for kill steals and glory, and just encourage solid, fun play. Even losses will likely qualify you because it doesn't say anything about losses/wins.

130 is not really ground breaking when you consider...
Win (20) - 110 to go
Say 300 damage (and no FF) (20) - 90 to go
So you have a choice - get 9 assists or 4 kills and one assist (obviously more potential combinations...)
Increase your chances by getting more damage as well.
You could run around in a light and touch EVERY enemy mech doing barely any damage and still get 130...

The example would likely mention 2 since it's 64, and it doesn't. So probably (hopefully) not.
