That was an awesome event, really. I was only able to play around 55 matches or so but walked away with a good amount of loot.
150 MC
Skull pumpkin
Halloween lights
Mug
@ 2,000,000 CB
1 Mechbay
1 day premium time
@ 2000 GXP
2 Cool shot
1 Artillery
2 UAV
3 Air strike
a flamer and another trick but forgot what it was.

I received 500,000 CB twice which really helped that total. I Just wanted to say thanks for the fun event. Talking to the people on my teams it seemed like everyone was having a blast opening their bags.

How did you calculate this? as some MC packages are better values than others.

My question is, how did they give out this much MC? I believe there was just a post on the forums about how Canadian law prohibited them from delving out more than X amount of money in prizes. ( I certainly don't think that number was higher than the triple digits)

The limitations on prizes was due to IGP being located in the province of Quebec.
Now that it's 100% PGI, British Columbia laws apply, and they are less restrictive.
Lotteries and such are the realm of provincial regulation in Canada.

I've been wondering that myself...
Haven't been able to find the post where they said that - but it is nice to know I am not the only on remembering/worried about that....

I believe the law made an exception for raffles(or the like) which this would technically qualify as. I could be mistaken though.

That would make sense.

What a Really Fantastic Event PGI!
Lots of fun reaching into the Bag and pulling out surprise goodies. I filled my bad with a nice variety of treats and only a few tricks.
Put the MC received on a set of War Horns and topped off several nodules with the GXP.
All around a really great weekend, keep events like this coming.

Thanks so much for such an entertaining and generous event!

Almost 3 million in MC given out (roughly equivalent to $12,000 real life money buying MC at the $99 dollar level, just straight MC not counting consumables or cockpit stuff) and 17 billion in c-bills!!!!!

I only had time to put in about 15 games this weekend, but I definitely enjoyed the anticipation of opening the treat bag and landed some nice loot!

Thanks again and I hope for similar events in the future and also look forward to picking up the Resistance pack!

This was definitely one of the best events that PGI has put together for MWO. With the Shadowhawk & Stormcrow Sale Challenge just prior, I'm really liking how well PGI has been crafting weekend/special events. Hopefully we'll see more of these events in the future.

A Special Xmas event maybe?
Reach into Santa's bag and get a gift if you've been nice or a lump of coal if you've been naughty? ;)

Chiming in to add my voice of approval to the list.

But it has also rekindled my desire for an exportable game log. It could be in the same manner as this last event with by match statistics. Oh I would love it!!!

41/62 qualified (had a string of awful games in there) which is a pretty good record for a noob like me.

3.700 GXP (which I'm happy to get for Weapon Modules)
195 MC (might use for some paintjobs)
1.34 Million C-Bills
1 Halloween Pumpkin (featured in my Commando-2D, having gotten that mech during this event)
2 days premium time
2 Consumables - why PGI why? I feel so dirty even having these in my inventory :(
1 Trick - a single heatsink.

All in all, a pretty good haul. Pretty much got a mech, two days premium time, a weapon module maxed out and some spare MC for free. Sure I could've gotten much more if I had even more time to play this weekend. Hoping to have more fun, stressfree events like this in the future.

Maybe it's on a per-player basis, and they capped the number of MC a single player could earn from this event? Even still though, there were MC-only consumables, mechbays (MC), and cockpit items (MC) given out in addition to raw MC itself

calculated at 25000 for roughly 100$ which is the "best deal" you can buy, on http://mwomercs.com/tournaments it tells you exactly how many MC were dished out, you do the maths, I did... LoLz

They told us how many of each prize type they gave out and with a little knowhow you too can find the locations of what each thing costs and do some more maths and find out roughly how much RL$$ they could have earned had they not been giving us this ginormous treat
