Ok so here's my question. We get a free King Crab on Dec 16th {happy birthday to me - mine's the 17th}, now is this going to be like the Mad Dog - with all 3 variants, or are we just getting one variant?

Just the one, likely in a similar paint job the the Cent AH and Atlas S.

IIRC the KGC-000 is for anyone who bought any top-level package, including Lengendary Founders, Overlord Pheonix, Masakari Invasion, Man O' War Second Wave, and Wrath Resistance packages.

Kind of lame that you don't get the other 2 variants. You do for the Mad Dog yet not for the King Crab. I know I shouldn't be complaining but it seems more like a tease than a reward.

To be fair, the Vulture reward was for getting two very specific top-level pre-order packs, while the KGC-000 is for any one top-level pre-order pack. The higher threshold seems to justify the greater reward.

That said, I'd love it if PGI would give us an extra variant for every top-level pre-order pack we buy. Having all three of Founders, Pheonix, and Resistance at the top levels would then get you three King Crab variants, enough to Master them without having to buy any via MC/c-bills.

I'm really curious if the King Crab will go on sale for everyone December 16th, with the reward mech delivered the same day, or if we are going to have to wait for the other two variants. Otherwise, how can we master it? Are the variants only going to be available to those getting the reward, or will they only be on sale for MC for the first week or so, then c-bill later like the Vindicators?

I'm just going to run my free one into the ground... even if they don't release other variants right away, it takes a long time to get the ~60,000 XP needed to max the darn thing... At least I'll have it all banked and ready to use (assuming I get that many hours to play ;-)

The Mad Dog required a much larger purchase ($360) than the King Crab (as little as $80); I had the Loki collection from the second wave and decided to upgrade it to Man-o-War for $30 and now get the King Crab as well, so it was a nice incentive for me to upgrade my pack. Didn't upgrade earlier because I'm a bit leery about the Gargoyle's effectiveness, but I've convinced myself that I can play it like a heavier Summoner.

What else?

I see also a small black hexagonal shape below the AC.20 barrel in the concept art,will 4x UAC.5's be viable or even bigger like 4x LB.10-x do you expect build's much like the Timberwolf's SRM's? speculation please...

The King Crab reward is a great sales move on their part. It is clear from the http://mwomercs.com/...iation-program/ webpage that the all the standard variants will be available for MC only on Dec 16th. You have to wait 5 weeks until they are available for C-bills.

Personally i wanta see the reward be the "limited" production -010 "Command" Model.

Any time PGI wants to tease me by dropping 100 Ton mech (along with mech bay) that I don't already own, in my lap, for buying something I already bought while having no idea at the time......YA BUDDY, and Thank You Very Much.
