Great tourney. Won lots of stuff already.


Now all they need to do is to finally display the "friendly Fire damage" on the scoreboard.

It's tracked. They calculate with it. Why cant we see it?

Won 700 gxp, a medium laser and 112k cbills so far, not too bad. Hoping to win a mechbay, it seems 831 others have won mechbays...?

Talked to others, some won mgs, small lasers, gxp, cbills, ams ammo and even 1/2 ton mg ammo.

Cool, jumping in now. I've been skipping weekends lately due to the poor quality of play during htese contests and I hope you're right about this one being different.

I won a mechbay, some MC!!(YIIISSSS) airstrike, c-bills, GXP!!

I havent wanted to play MWO this much since early open beta. Stupid trick or treats have be all excited about blasting stompy robots, and the treats arent even earth shattering, just enough of a "yay!" to make me keep looking at that tourny page.

It is certainly a good event. It's got a skill threshold for consistent rewards, but not one that's set too high. The rewards offered are diverse and valuable.

I'd say this event offers a successful formula.

I just wish that rewards scaled with performance. Instead of a flat 30 threshold, let players get 2 picks at 60+, 3 picks at 90+, etc.

I played 3 matches waiting for some pop up window in mechlab to show up, before coming here to the forums to see what was going on, and the button at the bottom isnt really all to big either, so you sorta need to know where to look for GOODIES!! (YYYIISSSS!!!)

The recent few challenges have been pretty innovative. Kudos to PGI for daring to try different things out even if they will get flak from it. I can see the effort built in to emphasize certain less played styles. You hit some, you miss some. I cannot expect a Trick or Treat all year through as well. A good mix will add to variety and spice. Have previously enjoyed the grind for the mechbay as well. At least that is tangible and permanent. Premium time does not cut for me as I do not play much on weekdays so its wasted.

Its different strokes for different folks. Enjoy the game, adjust your play style to seasonal buffs and nerfs, have fun with free mechs (with weird loadouts), build new players up, take the lead (don't blame others)!

This is absolutely the best event ever. Now if only I had some luck with the rewards. Got 3 small lasers now in a row. Still, very fun anticipating what the next one will be.
