The previous U.I was bad too, but faster than the current one, and the current is not only slower but less obvious and annoying too.

PGI did sort of said there would be a Smurfy like mech lab eventually, back when UI2.0 was implemented. But judging at how fast(or slow) they usually work, I wouldn't bet on it coming any time soon

I like the new one. Don't understand why people don't like the new one. The new ones better than the old one.

1. Why it's not possible to change modules in loadout? Why do we need separate menu for this?
2. Why icons of wapons/engines/modules are so big but description text is so small? It's hard to find what you need.
3. Why all the IMPORTANT are small and hardly visible (Weapons and equipment description, mech tonnage, heat scale, etc) and all NOT important (picture of module, weapon, module, etc) are just huge???
4. Why it's not possible to save different configurations of mech and change them in one click?
5. Why I can't click on mech's right hand (NOT on right hand button, but on his right hand!) and change it config?
6. Why do we need these ureadable graphs of weapon range?
7.Why no sepate submenues for Clan modules and IS modules?
8. "Redeeming items" at the launch of MWO... I want to read what items I redeemed!
9. Why not to make mechlab in "Mech Details"? It will be perfect there
and many other small "Why"...

UI 2.0 is completely illogical, it has to be reworked.
But better make UI 3.0 from a scratch.

While the current mech lab isn't perfect I don't hate it. An option to save loadouts would make any mech lab 100% better and should be built into the current mech lab ASAP.

IMO there are good and bad aspects of both UI's ... The main thing I liked about the old ui was looking at the whole mech and moving things about .. If they where to change the"mech details" view where we could move some things things around would be a step in the right direction . it is a pain form moving ammo and heatsinks around ATM . ideally the smurfy style would be awesome just to see the over all much and make changes is relly what the people want IMO...

There is room for improvement in UI2.0, yes, but it is not as bad as it could be, so be thankful for that. :P
I might consider a hybrid of the previous and current UI's a good starting place for a rework, but at the end of the day I suppose it falls on PGI's shoulders as to what (if anything) will be changed and how. B)
