A Mr Secret Squirrel has gotten us some screenshots of the upcoming Fenris.

I'm not too sure...it's good that it's thin, and doesn't have the Nova issue, but it seems tall.

But wait....this makes it look reasonable...

I suppose we'll see with the hitboxes, and additional omnipods...if any exist.

They really need to stop scaling mediums so big. Especially when those mediums end up being what amounts to a fat light (i.e. Fenris).

BJ was one of the few good scales.

SHD was tall, so hopefully similar hitboxes. No JJs, on the other hand.

BIG torso twist though; 135 degrees. BJ1x is 96, for comparison.

Finally some screenshots. Well it is smaller than a cent, and I use to use the cent9D as a stupidly fast light hunting medium baxk in the day. So this seems ok to me. Might jist upgrady mist lynx on payday next week after all.

Thanks McGral18!

Very good to see this thing. It's definitely bigger than it probably should be, but not outrageously big.

The comparison to the Stormcrow is especially illuminating.

Thank you so much!

Edit: Yes, it's ugly. But so are ferrets! Have you seen those little... Oh... They are adorable. I give up.

Man did I forget how goofy looking so many of the original omnis looked. Then again, I liked the Celestials so maybe I'm just weird.

This... actually looks good! people are complaining about the size, but I don't think it's too bad. Those side torsos look tiny.

It's fast as hell anyway, so for me, the biggie will be how it maneuvers at speed.

Its the shoulders. In the concept art, the shoulder width looks to be slightly wider if not the same as the width of the hips. The actual model does not reflect that.

This is now bothering the piss out of me.

Really? Wow! This this is going to be more agile than I thought. That's a wide range of motion.

Seriously, its pelvis is the size of Arizona. Can the modeling team please reverse the Shoulder/pelvis proportions.

I personally prefer smaller hitbox in expense for faithful recreation of models. Especially since the Ferret will need any kind of crutch it can get.

Nice, thanks for sharing the images!

Size seems good to me, since the blackjack is actually reasonably sized imo.

I'm a little sad that the 3D team doesn't seam to be able to translate Alex's awesome concepts into actual game material. Like with the Vindicator, they again managed to make the legs and especially hips look somehow off... I fear for the Grasshopper...

Apart from that i'm really happy to see some new clanmechs (I can shoot at)
