From the video it look's like you could be made destitute ingame via black market high price's and by having to pay damage and munition's cost's.So much doubt so little delivery and a bit late but at least they're trying lately.(Best event ever so far)

and I come back
Then I get bored and don't want to grind any more for gxp xp or cbills (argh) especially since I want modules that I cannot afford. So I quit again
I'm a founder they haven't produced enough maps, good maps or weapons. The meta hurts.

I really don't want to Sillywarrior online in some crazy fast paced weapon hoe down.
I really like the pace of the game, I really don't want COD/BF style game play with short TTK.

I don't care for the solo only tournement stuff either. You get a lot of noobs and aholes in solo que that plays like sheet which makes me a lot happier I run with the wmc now.

If they threw in a series of mechanics that lowered the skill cap. That would make me leave.

Every time something gets nerfed, it always seems to be aimed at the competitive crowd. Now, granted, sometimes the competitive crowd will find something that definitely needs addressed, but for the most part, a lot of poor balancing decisions have been made that did nothing to stop the whiners, because the competitive crowd can still use them, but they were ruined for everybody else.

Keeping my eye out for new content and getting a mech fix now and then. Even tho im at step 4 when i drop its still adrenaline filled and fun ride.
But the game is WAY to shallow for it to be fun for longer periods of time. And playing mechachu collect them all is not fun.

Artillery and airstrikes almost made me bypass step 3 entirely. Some people are OK with them, but I despise the mechanic with every fiber of my being, and I love the game.

2. When it gets boring and too repetitive.
3. When I have no more extra time.
Whichever one of the above comes first.

What makes me stop?
Poor map design. Some simply suck. Some just look muddy and ugly. Of the three games I play of this nature, MWO, WoT and WT/WTGF, MWO simply has the worst, both aesthetically, graphically and positionally. This is not saying there are a few good maps, but there is some bad ones, and overall, can't get that feeling I get from playing on the maps in Mechwarrior 4 and its expansions. What makes it worst is that MWO doesn't bother to correct or improve its maps, whereas in WoT and WT, maps are continually refined and changed, and even removed if they are unsalvageable.
Stomps. This game has more stomps I ever experienced, when compared to World of Tanks or War Thunder. I think it definitely needs a respawn system to keep battles longer and closer, and needs to stop following WoT's one spawn per game, tie your tank/mech in the game for the remainder of battle, and enter a new game with a different tank/mech. It is better served if it follows War Thunder's limited respawn system, where you can premade a pallet set, and pick a new spawning mech from that.
Nerfs, or overnerfs. More and more weapons are becoming unfun to use.
Artillery and airstrike has no purpose in this game. For that matter, people also curse them in WoT (artillery) and War Thunder Ground Forces (air strikes).
Bad coding. This is technically one of the worst games in the PC in my hard disk with its crashes, bad synchs, graphics errors, not to mention an awful main menu/lobby interface.
Bad teams. I think the Mechwarrior player community is much more better than the community in World of Tanks and War Thunder but man, when it comes to PUGs, it is the absolute worst. Even in random PUGs I find the teamwork in WoT surprisingly good. PUG teamwork in War Thunder can also be bad too but the game has better built in mechanisms for individual effort to make a difference and carry the team to victory --- the respawn system helps here since it gives the losing team a second chance. Furthermore War Thunder, thanks to its respawn system, is objective centric, not kill centric, to achieve winning. For World of Tanks what makes it work is that players are less focused on K/D ratios but more on W/L ratios. Its partly for these reasons those two games are less stompy (doesn't mean that stomps don't happen, they do but you don't feel it in the same epidemic sense in MWO).
Lack of depth. MWO need a bit more than the standard death match and conquest scenarios. I remember Hawken's Missile Base Assault mode and that is fantastic. For that matter, I also like to see something like War Thunder's Domination modes. I think for example, MWO's Conquest has too many cap locations, it needs to have a system where a map can randomly have one, two or up to three capping points only. there is absolutely no need to have five or six locations. A location takeover mode like MWO's Conquest is also better served with a respawning system that forces it to become objective centric not kill centric, otherwise it only becomes another deathmatch for most of the time.

LOL What the holy hell? Its 2:30am here but I think that reads PuG teamwork in WoT is surprisingly good!? Oh GTFO with that......
The atrocious playerbase is primarily why I up and quit WoT.......the nerfs to the M103 and T34, paired up with thier lame ass RNG system just helped me along....but the playerbase in WoT is like number 1 on my list of worst players ever...run XVM mod for 100 games and come back and tell me they have an even remotely skilled playerbase. Hell, the WoT devs took to calling the playerbase too incompetent to properly play some of the new game modes they were going to release...escort...or something like that....its kinda why they stopped....so even the game devs called the players stupid.....WoT is one of the simplest games ever and yet 98% of the players have next to clue how to even play it properly. How can you get an XVM score of like 02 09? And be in a T8 tank with like 11K battles?
Plus the WoT community is a bunch of ******** anyway......just in ever conceivable fashion they are....
You mention like one thing against their beloved Russian tanks and you get neg repped into the ground. If you say a tank sucks you get hammered.....if you dont follow thier opinion 100%, they will ream your ass relentlessly......very poor ass community as a whole....
MWO has a much better community, perhaps its cuz they are older, WoT is primarily little kiddies.....but yeah...WoT, good teamwork in pugs...Dayum thats funny.....but not in a funny kind of way.....
I also wont argue, the PuGging MWO is miserable and full of stomps, its why I cant bring myself to play this game...I have 90 games and of that 47 are losses, cant seem to get more wins then losses....ofc, half that is my own lack of having proper settings in game, but now ive fixed that and I just cant bring myself ot play cuz...12-2 stomp inc.....

- No more 'Mechs being released. Since I have almost all of the 'Mechs bar some Clans, this would kill my motivation to invest in the game further. It's good to have something to look forward to.
- Massive changes to the gameplay that result in that "MechWarrior feeling" gone. Like TTK getting extremely low. I'm actually worried that some of the proposed quirks will massively impact TTK. Shorter TTK is just not fun to me. Long, drawn-out battles on the hand are much more fun.
- Third and the last one, if they let balance stay out of whack for a long time again. I actually quit once during the PPCApocalypse until the implementation of ghost heat brought some of the fun back.
