Before someone comes in to say "the Black Knight!" I would like to say, from my research, the first BK to sport an ECM suite comes in the Dark Ages (BLK-NT-2Y). The MW4 Black Knight wasn't a "Black Knight" it was a patchwork of mechs that the colonel called the Black Knight :)

The Cataphract had an ECM capable variant. But you know, dont want anything to be too OP

CTF-5D

This upgrade of the 3D removes the weapons and is powered by a Light Fusion Engine along with enough improved jump jets to leap up to one hundred and eighty meters. This enables it to bring its Plasma Rifle and Light Autocannon/5 to bear, though a one-ton ammunition bin for the autocannon limits its ability to use special munitions. Two ER Medium Lasers provide backup in case an enemy closes with the Cataphract. The variant reportedly has Stealth armor and Guardian ECM

Light equipment and plasma rifle means we're not getting that CTF. There's the Thanatos, but that's an IS omni and comes late 3060s (IIRC). There's the Exterminator, which is timeline available (sorta) but is basically extinct thanks to the Succession Wars. Slight timeline fudge might allow the Penetrator (3053, -6S variant). More time fudge might allow the Bandersnatch, 3052. More fudge would allow the War Dog, but that only has two variants.

well the enforcer (medium mech in the IS resistance pack) only has 2 canon variants total. there are 2 custom variants. but the 3rd one PGI made is not a canon standard variant nor is it even based off one of the custom variants. So the War Dog only having 2 variants is not really an issue anymore. by third variant I mean the 5P. which actually is a logicalish setup (if Davion made it) with their autocannon love.

Yeah, not a lot of ECM in the current timeline, and none really in the Heavy category. There's a Griffin and Shadowhawk that could work, but we didn't get that Griffin, and the Shadowhawk variant would be rather powerful (6 Energy Hardpoints and ECM).

Just as soon as the clans have the same number of lights, mediums and assaults with ECM that the IS has. Just because IS keeps complaining about having the same toys as Clans.
