On going off that note - if they've changed the Catapult model, why don't they change some of the oversized meds and make em smaller?

Launcher size, tacked on VCRs, crappy PPC barrels, torso twist reduction, etc... All crimes against the poor Catapult.

Not to mention, some weak quirks in the quirk pass IMO. Poor Catapult, somone important at PGI does really...REALLY hate you.

I hate PGI for what they have done to my beloved Cat's. Like all the events they've done recently... but leaving the broken mess that the Catapult is at the moment as it is (the oversized arm hitboxes and the lack of CT hitbox size reduction), is a major stain on their new "listen to feedback" policy.

I adore my C-1(F) I don't play it... But still adore it. She was the first mech I slid into in both MWO and TT. I will always be a catapult pilot and it will remain in my hanger, standing at the ready, fully equipped (hula girl included) until the day she can confidently point those twin LRM20s skywards and let loose high explosive hell upon the heads of my enemy.

Do they hate the Catapult, or did it at one point like many mechs standout for it's ability - creating constant crying on the forums until it just had to be hammered down?


I've found these forums to have a unique type of selective amnesia as to why some over-nerfs actually happen.

You speak of the First LURM-calypse. Honestly.... They never stopped crying. I screwed around this weekend and put 2 LRM5s on my raven 3L and still got WTFLRM hate.

So they quirk the lrms then nerf the dmg.
They dont add armor to the huge ears.

I drive the C4 Catapult. Always have, always will. Got some 2K games in her and she has been one of my most loyal mechs <3

2 LRM20s, 2 Mlas with 12 tons of ammo and 75% of max armor with an XL 300. I pull 600-1200 damage games still.
