PGI,
Now that the quirk system is in place and all other projects are slowly but surely on track, i would like to ask about CW especially about what you vision as the de-facto voice comms, specifically how you vision the voice comm component of CW working.
When a 12 man group gets together to initiate an invasion i can see how you would suggest they bring their own comms, i mean they are already organizing the 12 man drop, they must have comms.
My concern is for the defenders, given that you will receive alerts about the planetary invasion, some units will no doubt be an ad-hoc team to defend ones colors. How do you visualize this coordination taking place.
Thanks for any information you can provide.

talking to your team?are you crazy?whats wrong with coming to a complete stop typing to them? or using + on the number pad so you dont stop but cant turn with the chat open.that minute in the ready screen is surely enough time to tell your teammates to download ts or raidcall or ventrilo and give them your server and password then nnever see them in a match again....

I would heartily concur, in game VOIP should be a priority along with Community Warfare. Maybe they won't be getting it in for the first CW release, but they should certianly prioritize it for as early as possible in the new year.
Also, Commo Rose.

If PGI plans to implement in-game VOIP, please also provide the players with an option to turn it *off* (just like the current chat options). This option is very important for players like me who are tired of the trash talking in PUG games.

A Command Rose would probably be better since some players don't speak English or even use the same alphabet. It would also block out all the 12-year olds blasting their music to everyone else and trying (and failing) to trash talk.
