Not sure why, but I'm actually earning XP at a decent rate again. Big relief. Can get back to leveling up my mechs.

They fixed the Assist XP.. it was screwed since last update.. wasn't even giving close to what you should have gotten...
They let this go for weeks.. all that lost XP It was supposed to give 30xp per assist.. well here's one of my screenshots to show it was a bit low

Hell it's not. I got 289k WITH premium and mech bonus, that's 160k base rewards, for dealing almost 1100 damga, 3 kills+6 assaists and 9 destroyed components.

We're talking XP... I shoulda had 360 Assist XP.. but I only received 35.. just barely over one Assist XP.
