I beleive it is appropriate to blame my idiot team when they literally fall back to omega at the first sign of offense and let the attackers spawn trap at the drop site.

Seriously, this happened. Along with a game of counter attack, I told my team "we should use the base to our advantage, don't let them lure you out and don't let them in, just kill them as you see them" but of course my team has to go and back off as soon as they spotted a mech allowing a force of 12 mixed heavies and assaults almost free roam of the base with minimal resistance from my "team"

When someone complains, more often than not the team actually did do something wrong.

It depends on the situarion, when the light runs off, dies and blames the tema lol yeha, sry bro, your fault.

But when the team crowds up at a corner and the assault is pushing and suddenly the team scares away running of because a single opponent beamed some lasers in their direction. WOW sure the assault dies first, and he then surely has a right to call out his team.

Since I mostly Pug, playing 100t assautls is a very luck based thing on how your team knows to stick with you or not. Thats why I nearly never play assaults. If you don'T have a gauss config able to stay in the bakc or medium rnage, your life depends to much on the team. Atlas is still a great brawler mech, but one cna not successfully brawl vs 4 opponents. You may kill one or two, or at elats cripple something but then yo are dead.

It happens all the time.

A player dies and gets ticked off that he/she died. They don't ever blame themselves for playing bad, so they blame the team. Somehow it makes them feel better. Who knows how.

If their team is losing, they feel justified in being a jerk. Funny thing is, I've seen many occasions when a player dies, insults us for being morons, and we still win. We were just morons because that person died. It's really pathetic to insult your teamates and have your team win without you lol.

Anyway, sometimes teams play bad, but still don't humiliate them. Just let it go and get ready for the next match.

This guy dies and team still wins? Yeah, like in those case, when half of enemy team managed to perform backstab around citadel at River City and I was the only guy, who cared about looking back. Of course I died, but my "look back noobs" in chat was enough for them to turn around and win. In many cases guy, that dies, manages to deal noticeable damage to enemy team - like in 3rd case, I mentioned above. Some players are just like jackals - they hide behind your back, letting you to take all damage and cripple enemy mechs, only to steal your kills at the end.

Most complaints I've seen, and have actually complained about myself, are as follows:
  • Standing around doing nothing waiting for somebody else to move, then getting picked off one at a time or zerg rushed.
  • Only ever running away. Turn your 70 ton death machines around and shoot back, it works wonders.
  • Being spread out to the four winds.
  • Congregating in open areas waiting for somebody else to move whilst being LRM'd to death.
  • 4+ people, usually including an assault or heavy, chasing squirrels.

I don't care. if it gets us a win. But then again I'm kinda selfless like that.
