This work thing is overrated.

I just want to shoot at mechs! IS THAT SUCH A BAD THING!?

*shakes fists at the ceiling*

Maybe I can convince the boss that MWO at work would be a good team-building excerise.

Do you actually need to ask for permission before you can leave work? Really?

It's too bad our office machines are not equipped to run MWO (or any graphics-heavy games for that matter). Otherwise, we'd have Friday LAN parties again like we used to have eons ago.

I got off 2 hours early because I hurried to finish everything then asked if I could go play games lol. It worked. :)

This was yesterday when I was super amped about the Ice Ferret.. not an everyday occurance.

Why would you want to work after you've retired? ;)

When I was your age, computers were big, bulky things, and I used to fantasize about them being small enough to carry around in your pocket.

Now the one I'm carrying around in my pocket (a Nexus 5) is more powerful than even what I was daydreaming about back then - hell, more powerful than most of the computers I've owned!

So who knows where we'll be in 40 years; you might even remember this conversation and fondly shake your head at your naïveté ;)

I had a friend that for about 1/3 or more of their work they would all play Diablo 3 or some other team game. I think he worked in tech support and they just played during slow days, which happened often.

I was working, going to school full time and taking care of a family at the time. It did feel a bit unfair, lolz
