Not sure if it was announced or posted, but all my games so far today have been CLAN vs IS.

They doing a quick balance data gathering?

That kind of thing never really stops in a game like this

I thought they would have waited longer for people to adjust their 'mechs to the new quirks.

They have the ability to adjust MM on the fly now.

Currently, teams are dropping as all clan or all IS, most matches appear to be Clan vs IS but I've seen at least one IS vs IS game.

To avoid potentially unbalanced games from taking place during peak gaming hours.

Indeed , I just had 3 games with pure IS vs clans games, but than had some normal games inbetween.

With the 30~50% medium que being what it it is, it seem unlikely that the MM made several perfect 4x3 pure IS vs Clan games unintentionally.

Btw the clans still wiped us out... not that our were the best IS I ever seen....

The desk pays better than wrenching but I am not 100% convinced the fat ass I got was worth it....

I think they turned it on briefly because my first game was IS vs IS and then it went back to mix.

I do not think it is good sample data yet. I see a lot of mechs that do not run the optimal quirk builds (Large Laser Awesomes and so on).

No matter how long they wait to do the test, many are not going to be particularly worried about making optimal quirk builds. You'll never see me pull the AC/20 from my Orion, for instance.
