I never understood the notion that founders have gotten the short end of the stick. As far as I can tell you got the best deal. I mean yeah you can be upset about the game not being what you wanted it to be but how does being a founder make it worse? I put $30 into this game like a month after founders ended and I got far less MC, no premium time, and no super early access for the same cost as veteran founders. And I don't recall the game changing that much in a month.
And If given the chance now, I would gladly buy the veteran founders pack over either of the $30 clan wave packs.

Oh and didn't founders have the option of playing for a long time and if they decided they didn't like how the game was going they could simply ask for a refund. No real explanation needed, just say hey I want my money back. And I don't think you got banned if you did it before a certain time, like ~December 2012.

Of all the things I could complain about, the founder's package really doesn't rate, particularly since I'm getting the King Crab as a result of it. Do I run any of my founder's chassis now? No, but that likely wouldn't change if they were ultra-competitive. I've just got other chassis I prefer to run. The fact that they've tweaked what they put into pre-release packs doesn't bother me either. I pretty much expected that formula to change up periodically.

PGI isn't a mult-million dollar company they do not have the resources to make another game without the other game to suffer from development issues. We still have problems from the closed beta!! what well developed game still has problems from 2 years ago! Also PGI/IGP still pulled a lot of other crap its hardly just transverse scandal by itself.

PGI/IGP has only made this game smaller not bigger since closed beta but please pretend the population hasn't beed drastically reduced.

im satisfied. i bought into founders for early access, and got it. anyone complaining about their purchase, would probably tend to complain no matter what they bought.

Legendary Founders got tons of stuff plus 4 mechs. And they boosted them to 30% recently. I don't feel shafted at all. I've spent tons on this game including Founders, and I look at it as supported my favorite franchise...

Founders didn't get into closed beta early. Closed beta was going on before the founders pack was on offer iirc.

Seriously, the only legitimate complaint Founders really have is that we were sold on a concept of a game and, over two years later, is still missing one of the promised pillars of its foundation... Community Warfare.

I'm waiting for it and I actually do believe PGI is serious about delivering it this time.

We'll find out by the end of this year. Until then, hold on and vote with your wallets if you want to, either way the vote goes.

You dont have to be a multi million dollar company to be able to juggle multiple projects....my meager business is often doing 5-8 jobs at one time. Also where did i say ANYTHING about the player base? And how is this post now all of a sudden about more then just eh founders?

Also....i find it hard to believe the game is SMALLER then when it was in CLOSED BETA. Hence the whole CLOSED bit. Not ANYONE can get in, semantics are fun!

I would like to point out that Founders just got a FREE upgrade. Our Founder's mech's bonuses were just buffed to be more in line with heroes. They didn't have to do that and nobody expected them to. Bravo PGI, bravo!

But I got $60 of MC, 2 months premium and a free mech which seemed like good value for $60. Then they gave us 6 weeks free premium to make up for the mess of OB launch. Good value and I still have 7,500 MC in bank and my premium still in the bank waiting for CW in 3 months.

I don't regret being a Founder, or any of the money I've spent on this game. I have a very specific portion of my income set aside for fun-and-or-on-the-whim stuff. It never feels like wasted money because I pre-determined that I would spend that money on discretionary items, and the amount of hours I've put into this game (which I've enjoyed) have made the purchases very much worth it considering how much I pay for things like NHL Gamecenter subscriptions and going to movies. If you bought a Founder's pack, you tacitly accepted that even if the game was a big pile of smelly dongs - you were willing to risk that money on the chance that would end up being worth it.

You're not pulling back the veil for anybody reading this thread. No one is going to have an epiphany by reading the OP. "My god! If I spend money on something before it actually comes out - there's a chance it might suck and I would've wasted the money!" That is no great mystery or riddle. You're just conjuring up some thin pretense to justify your desire to complain and start five pages of entirely unproductive whining and bitter attitudes. This forum has enough of that.

OP needs to speak for himself (and a select few others) and not everyone, as numerous examples of both other founders and purchasers of packs released since founders are entirely happy with their purchases, and many therefore continue to spend money. Many of us in fact regret ONLY not having the funds (or in some cases courage /faith) to purchase founders while it was still available.

To me the OP reads: "I`m still butthurt about 3pv and coolant, which have become laughable things to qq over, so I`ll try to find some other way to create bad press and damage teh game for no reason other than spite." It just uses way too many words to convey that (or it`s a completely botched attempt to conceal it in hopes of luring in uninformed souls).

And BTW: It`s my money, nobody can force me to spend it anywhere, on anything. So, in reality, if you`re really still qqing about this, you`re actually qqing about your own ineptitude to make an informed financial decision, as well as your own incapacity for securing a refund while it was still a legitimate course of action.

Nobody forced you to actually keep the package, just like nobody forced you to pay for it in the first place... the blame, if any at all is to placed, falls predominantly on your shoulders for

Willful misinterpretation. For ex, .3pv was, in fact, NEVER, EVER, ruled out completely, and the oh so famous quote that people parade out as "proof" is incomplete, as the very next sentence (the one conspicuaousle missing from every "but you promised" post, but very clearly present in the original statement) states in no uncertain terms that it IS something that they may look into in the future.

and outright ignorance of obvious criteria: For ex. expecting a AAA quality title with finished and complete CW and perfect mechanics in under 3 years from a studio that for the longest time had less than 50 employees, less thatn 10 of which where qualified to work on the actual code and engineering factors

TL;DR: It`s been 2 years, you got EVERYTHING you were promised and paid for. And, now that your bonus has been upped to 30%, actually MORE than you originally paid for, and you also had a very long timeframe where recoupment was in fact an option, one which you and you alone decided to forego.

With all due respect, IMO either get over yourself, or get over the game and find another one, because it`s obvious that you don`t have any particular interest in being a contributing member of the community centered around this one.
