I have a bit of trouble properly leading projectiles, like the ppc, when their velocity is continually tweaked. I doubt I'm the only one frustrated by this.
Now a PPC doesn't even carry a constant velocity from mech to mech. Due to mech quirks. This enhanced velocity may effectively impair accuracy for pilots switching between variants. My recommendation is simple, and offers no edge on other players.
Implement a toggle to dismantle projectile velocity quirks. This toggle will act very similarly to the arm lock toggle, allowing players to sacrifice an advantage for ease of use.

Er... this seems really unnecessary...

Why? The only reason I can hit with a weapon at long range is the consistency of velocity.

So... you want... a toggleable velocity... which very well can and will add another layer of possible inconsistency... to nerf your weapons...

I'm trying to remove a layer of inconsistency with this idea

So...get a mech and/or variant that has basic laser cooldowns and no PPC-velocity buff.
