Well you just need to kill half of the enemy team and get the assists on the rest and dont forget to spot as well.

Go for ST destructions to fluff damage, and of course kills and most damage dealt.

You don't need spotting assists to get 200k+, you just need solo kills.

Or.. You could try launching a uav in an auspicious, and not too easy to shoot down, position.

By all means, launch that drone to help Your team, but it is not going to help You pocket book.

An average newbie will die to LRMs/PPCs/Gauss first before getting anywhere. Need to teach him the value of cover first.

And situational awareness. Pay attention to your location and your team mates. I've seen plenty of guys standing around and then realise the team has moved and they get swamped by the enemy.

Works for me, most of the time. I have derp matches, but for the most part it's good advice.

I've completely given up on consumables, I just can't afford them. Last time I launched a UAV I watched as my HUD filled with dozens of rewards and bonuses, their entire team was spotted and under heavy LRM and direct fire.

End of game rewards? Total of about 15k from the UAV. Not worth it, not worth it at all.

2 years into this game, and occasionally, that's still me . And scrappy HBK guy doesn't break off too easy, either, lol.

Me too. I'm always amazed how fast the assaults can move leaving me on the edge getting fired upon.

I've been noticing tag gives you a lot of cbills these days, especially if you tag your own missile damage.

Yeah, the number of times I've led a push, with folk on board, up to hpg top, and found myself utterly alone, and focused, is just ridiculous. I'm raging just thinking about it..

I haven't used UAV and I can't speak to its value to one's c-bill account, but some of the gains from it are hidden in what happens in the match afterwards. If it works well, you might get the opportunity to rake in several assists and other bonuses as your team mops up for the win.

It's impossible to know for sure what you would have gotten had you not launched it, however. Only PGI has the data to compare earnings and estimate that it is profitable (or not) over time.

I would imagine that having one shot down early would make it very difficult to make up the cost by launching more in other matches, which also may or may not be wasted.

Well if you had literally killed half the team (six solo kills) you would have made about 210,000 Cbills, by my count (adding up all the stuff I can see on that screenshot). Add to that the Cbill's from the stuff we can't see, and thats not too bad.

My earnings seem to fluctuate wildly. some times its seems like I did poorly, and then I end up with good money, but it turns out exactly the opposite way other times. I have never tried to "farm" Cbills though, maybe I should look into that a bit.
