You could always use the clan trial mechs if you don't have enough cbills for the clan mechs yet. Most of the initial wave are available now.......

Guys is it ok:
12 kills 0 assists 1600 dmg = 226 pts
0 kills 12 assists 600 dmg = 280pts

RLY?! It mean that its better to hit all enemy for some instead **** whole enemy team alone!!!!

280 pts = 12 kills 0 assists 3900 (!!!) dmg.... come on ....

P.S. a lot of events are great, top10 matches system is great but still - not every weekend plz

Lots of matches ... only 2 Broke the 130 point score so far. PGI your scoring system is wayyyyyy too unbalanced.

The formula to determine points is ********. One of the worst they've ever done. It actively punishes you for being an effective player and putting down enemies quickly.

I literally only opted in so I can get the free Cbill bonuses from playing. The "challenge" itself is a waste of time, and will only be won by people gaming the system just getting assists on 12 mechs and doing as much pointless damage as they can from afar without killing a mech.

Most stupid score formula for a ladder challenge... everything suggested here is better than this.

Don't you guys at PGI think about the incentives from such formula and the consequences for the game given that many/most people do everything to achive high scores???

Damage based tournament is boring and makes gameplay worse, for the number of campy games folds at least three times. The number of LRM is thrice as many too. Please change the tournament rules or I'd rather having none of these at all.

So that's a 100 matches for C Bills, as opposed to 60 for the warhorn last go.

Seems a bit out of scale.

The difference being the warhorn was a item you have to pay real money to buy normally and C-Bills are just in game currency for mechs, weapons and modules.

100 matches, that haveto qualify as well in order to make the max cbill payout, let alone what is needed if someone intends to grind the top spot for their chosen faction/affiliation...

Not the reason for the TOURNAMENT, as an added bonus, if you do well, you get some extra cbills, that is a gift not a grind... again the grind to the top spot is for the TOURNAMENT, remember folks this is an active tournament, with all competitive natures going full boat
