Is it just me noticing or is PGI only showcasing mechs on crimson strait now?

It just happens to give a very good balance of lighting and vantage points.

After grinding out two to basic, I have to say I prefer the WubShee, at a 20 ton increase.

Very similar damage profile, 52.6 hitscan VS 61 hitscan.

Slight difference in application; the Clam lasers have greater reach, but the IS Wub deals it in half the time. I personally prefer the faster application.

And the heat! Perhaps it's because I'm still missing 7.5% dissipation and 10% cap, but the WubShee is now running 20% cooler after getting the proper MPL heat values. 40% heat per alpha VS 65%. WubShee is much more sustainable.

Both should have similar dissipation and capacity values after mastery, though. 50 heat for the TimberGod VS 35.

I just hope I don't get Alpine...Clam lasers have good uses there.

I actually don't mind these C-Bill releases.
It does two things very very well.

1) Ensures that my Mediums/Assaults get the shortest queue time possible
2) Gives me a Target Rich environment while new people try and figure out the chassis.

I did get iced by a Lazer one right off the bat but afterwards my Cicada and BJ's were at their best and bringing down the heavies :)

My Dire Wolf shall reduce the population of Timber Wolf.
Equip AMS on your mech and focus fire. Do not worry about the Timber Wolves, once you know how to treat them. They are not scary anymore.

Good, after the OP crying crowd leaves in week or two, maybe they lower the clan medium laser heat a bit. After the IS mech quirks the clan laser are just too hot.

Well, I'm glad I just changed up my Timby's config to remove the ears. That being said, I've had the Timber Wolf since they first dropped for a la carte, and my Protector and Jester still get PLENTY of use. If the heavy queue gets too bad, hey, time to master the Vindi and Centurion....

great, this means the heavy queue should go back to being overpopulated, so I should finaly be able to take out my Mist Lynx without waiting 5 minutes for matchmaking for each match

Alright medium jock, we got our queue back! All of the FOTM Doomcrow pilots have a new toy to distract them.

Looks like it's time to bring out my Griffins and Wolverines again.

Seeing as the queues show that light mechs are the least % I tried going in as one but I found it took ages to get into a game, but as soon as I pick the Timberwolf I'm almost immediately in a match, has anyone else been having this happen 0.o

Timberwolf is just fine, I enjoyed my first match in it and all. But, ive done way better in my Catapult C1. Both are great, but my favotite is always going to be the Catapults.
