Oh good... I use to do that in my Ryoken all the time in MW4... Nothing like a DFA and shooting your victims cockpit before either of you can stand up... Sure you may get caught up in the reactor going critical but it looked awesome!!!

I imagine it'll be like MW4 where you slide off peoples' bodies most of the time, except now you might be able to hit someone just right to actually trigger it happening. Otherwise I imagine people would do it constantly, because unlike the TT, physically piloting a mech into another mech in a video game is pretty easy.
A similar thing that always bugged me were head shots. Mechs don't even NEED visible cockpits, much less HEADS. Plus it's not exactly a hard thing to hit on some of these mechs. Yet, in most games it basically is just reduced to a dice roll, even if you stand in front of someone pouring rounds into their face. Video games, man. Video games.

"Q: Are jumpjet mechs "Death From Above" tactics included in the game design yet? Keyword searches and reading through the posted material, I've so far failed to find discussion on the topic. I doubt it has been overlooked so it's probably just a lack of discovery on my part. [Jaxwen]
A: Death From Above is planned, yes. [GARTH]
Q: Will a jump capable mech be able to land on other mechs and knock them down? [Stray Ion]
A: Yes, although if you hit an Atlas with a Jenner, the Jenner tends to fall, and the Atlas stays on its feet. You can land on people and knock them over though, absolutely. [GARTH]

I know, I was including that other answer to let OP know that there are all the usual possibilties from landing on another mech and to expect it to be done reasonably. e.g. the Jenner falling off the Atlas.
